City v Everton Post Match Discussion

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

Everton are a bad match for us. They know how to foul, dive, time waste etc and it stops our fluidity. We looked good for the first 25 minutes of the second half but they took the sting right out of the game. It's frustrating to watch but you have to give them credit for it. You have to get an early lead against them most of the time.

Obviously doesn't help when we're nowhere near our best but at least we have a game next week that we have to get up for.

not a great display, need to pick it up big time in time for nxt wk against the rags.

Yaya looks like he needs a rest in midweek, need him back on it for derby.

Dzeko yet again poor. Cant keep starting him when we have Tevez and Aguero missing out at different times, its insane.

Vinnie, Maicon and Baz played very well. Lescott did ok too.

Was an odd starting lineup imo, and thought we'd end up with a point.

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

Everton were close to nicking it at the end and we'd had the entire second half to right the wrongs of the first. Poor game, fair result but the rags will likely top the table going into the derby.

Moan fucking moan.

Not the best performance but whatever happens tonight we're within 3 of the scum going into the derby. Drawing with Everton isn't the worst result, plus they were diving all over the fucking show.

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

Just lacked the edge around the box when needed.

Hart had nothing to do in the second half until injury time.

Not clinical enough to get the second goal that would have won us the game.

In boxing parlance we won it on points quite comfortably without the knockout blow.

Our slow starts have to be addressed.

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

It was by beating hoodoo teams like Everton last year that gave us the points to get the title, I just hope we don't regret not putting in the extra effort to beat Everton today.
