City v Everton post match

"woods for the trees" springs to mind.

Open your eyes and actually look at what we are doing and think about the future and whats to come rather than the here and now and wishing we where doing something differently.

I agree mate.....we were never going to fix everything in 4 months. We've just seen a different team these last 3 or 4 weeks to the way we started the season, so understandable people feeling disappointed. It will come tho, just got to show a little patience.....I just dont get the "we, didnt win but atleast we looked good" type comments.....We were clearly the best team today and you need to win those type of games...Feel confident it will all come together tho! cheers

Todays performance was for me our best yet.

Imo of course.

Bookmark this post because over the course of the next 3 years, Pep will make us one of the greatest club sides thats ever existed and im in no doubt about it.

I didn't go today. After the game, I thought I would read this thread to find out what happened. Thus far, I have established:

We were all over them but they controlled the game.

We created nothing but we should have scored plenty.

Sane played well but he did nothing.

Silva and De Bruyne, our creative players, were very good but they created little.

Nolito not starting was bizarre. Aguero needs taking off penalties.

The most frustrating thing for me is that Hull let in 6 to Bournemouth today, but when we play Hull they'll magically turn into the best defenders in the league and we'll be lucky to get 1 or 2. Stekelenburg is the exact same, another very average goalkeeper who turns into Neuer when he faces us.
