The worrying thing about this result and performance is that I agree with people saying we were on top and they just played long ball, pressed well and stuck eleven men behind the ball - It worked! The likes of Villa and Birmingham will do the same. Any team playing us knows that if you work hard, get bodies behind the ball we're always likely to concede with our weekly concentration lapse. I fancy us to beat Wigan but Burnley and West Ham away won't be easy as they'll be fighting for their lives. Scum,Spuds and Arsenal all very tough as I think they're better teams than us. We have a great chance to make 4th but I'm not sure we've got the quality to do it. We need Ade to come back and finish the season as he started it. I think the major problem though is are total lack of pace and creativity in the middle of the pitch, this needs addressing in the summer.

I just don't think it's a valid argument. We have a very decent record of recovering from going a goal behind. I'd argue one of the best in the league. From the 14 games you mentioned we came back to get something in 7 of them. Plus the 4 times we have came from behind to win. That's 19 points clawed back from losing positions if you classed them all as league games.
The bigger problem is starting off slowly and actually going behind in the first place.

I bet that the majority of the games we have gone a goal behind we were the better team up until that point then our game has gone to pot from thereon in...

Bad setback tonight but we've been through much worse times than these together.
I leaves us less room for error in our remaining games but if we can regain momentum by winning the next few games,I think we can take it all the way,and knock the scum of their perch while we're at it.
