Without wanting to sound arrogant, this team should be good enough at home to Hull, as long as we play well we should win.

At some point we have to find out if Bravo is going to get his confidence and mojo back, and be the brilliant keeper he has been for the rest of his career, or if he's permanently done and has to go.

I can't see a better game to test that out in than a home game against a side with 1 away goal under their current manager, who haven't won an away game since August.

It has to be done, nows the best time to do it, lets hope he has a great game.

I hope he doesn't have a great game, i hope he has a quiet game and has sod all to do!

The match day thread is going to go interstellar if Bravo lets a regulation stop go past him today.

I'm sure some people just come on to moan at how " truly shocking" we are. You would be forgiven for thinking you'd stumbled upon the Sunderland match day forum by accident.

I think that team selection shows how bad our defensive options are. Assume KVB on the bench to be called on in a potential rescue operation.

Not being negative. Just not confident.

Apart from Vinny it is still a good line up and it is all down to us to start taking our chances. Bravo's inclusion is down to the FA Cup semi.

It is important that we get back to winning games and this fixture at home is an ideal one but it could be tricky and so Hull should not be taken for granted. The players should be ready anyway to put in a good performance. Glad Sterling is back in the line up and essentially the shape of the team still remains with Delph and Toure in there. Delph will give the energy and Toure the orchestration. I am also happy with Kolarov in there in place of Otamendi but not sure about the keeper. However if there is a game to give him a go, with the confidence of Cabarello down at the moment then it is this game.

Regardless, it is a balanced and strong team good enough to win this match.

Oh and on more thing, it looks like Navas is now the choice at right back going forward at least until Sagna gets back from injury.
