City v Liverpool Post Match Thread

Entertaining game, but Liverpool have been as good, if not better, in the corresponding fixtures in recent years (a couple of notable exceptions), so the real test for them is how they fare against other teams. They've now lost away to us and Arsenal and dropped points at Everton and Newcastle. They won't be far away this season, but I would question whether or not they have the psychological strength to go the distance and win it.

Objective is 4th. I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but easy to forget expectations going into this season. The "psychology" stuff applies to Spurs (all those signings), Man U (champs, "size") and Arsenal (choking history).

Chelsea seem like they'll coast into top 4 one way or another and win the title if you lot somehow fail to win it.

The other two top four spots are up for grabs.

Hope you get it fella at the expense of the Rags!!!! Wasnt convinced about L'pool lasting the distance but they made strides in changing my mind with that show today. It gets right up my nose having fans say we werent that good today. We are getting spoiled rotten. You have to tip your hat to the other team-especially when they play as brightly as L'pool did today.

I would think the L'pool fans would be ectsatic if they are back in the Chimps League next season and who knows what they could do in the FA Cup as well. Now, the main thing is holding on to Bugs Bunny.....

I have to laugh when people think Rodgers is class. Yeah, like his 3 players on his own
team are going to fail the team - envelopes. Trying to drive out Carroll, Henderson,
Downing. Mind games always. Told Downing he was in one day, next day he was gone
i believe. Suarez went PUBLIC to tell the WORLD that Rodgers had basically LIED to him
about the Champions League 'clause'. Whatever class is.... Rodgers is not that.

They are a team of cheats. Some examples:

When Suarez bit the Chelsea defender, it was not noticed by the ref, who then added
6 MINUTES onto the match, for Suarez to score at the death. Should have been red-carded
and not on the pitch.

At EVERY single Liverpool match i have seen this year with Suarez, he goes down like shot,
right outside the box, where he loves to score on the free kick. He did the exact theatrics
again today, but didnt get the call, but went into the Refs face over it. haha!

His attempted Karate kick at Hart today, and then the pretend 'I didnt mean it...'

Skertl's shirtpull on EVERY corner. The lightweights falling when they are challenged.

They do this EVERY match. How many goals and points does that get you in a season?
CITY play like MEN.

Look good for a top 4 finish but Henderson cannot keep this form up and Coutinho may struggle with fitness over the course of the season so not winning it despite Suarez looking deadly.
