Offside had been given before Stirling got to Hart, who knew it and did not make a proper challenge; if he had needed to, Hart might have won the ball.

Great game, I thought we just about shaded it and 2-1 was a fair result, well played liverpool though.

It might seem petty but it wasn't a "wrongly disallowed goal" as play had stopped when the flag went up, if anything he should have been booked for putting it in the back of the net :-)

Yes, shocking decision but we've had more than our share of those over the years, and judging by Sterling's miss late on he would have put it into row z anyway.

Huge 3 points. Another match that could've ended in a cricket score but this time neither team were clinical enough. Credit to Liverpool - one of the best performances I've seen by anyone at the Etihad. For my money they deserved a point.

Officials were truly awful. Rodgers is right to have a good moan. If that offside had been given against us away in a big game the word agenda wouldn't be far from anyone's lips.

No mistakes against Palace now. I'm sure there'll be rotation. We just need the 3 points and no more fucking injuries.

Not the best of performances, but I'll take it! Mason is awful as a ref though!

I was dreading Mason's performance but putting the score aside I didn't think he reffed as badly as some of the clowns we've had this season.

I have to laugh when people think Rodgers is class. Yeah, like his 3 players on his own
team are going to fail the team - envelopes. Trying to drive out Carroll, Henderson,
Downing. Mind games always. Told Downing he was in one day, next day he was gone
i believe. Suarez went PUBLIC to tell the WORLD that Rodgers had basically LIED to him
about the Champions League 'clause'. Whatever class is.... Rodgers is not that.

They are a team of cheats. Some examples:

When Suarez bit the Chelsea defender, it was not noticed by the ref, who then added
6 MINUTES onto the match, for Suarez to score at the death. Should have been red-carded
and not on the pitch.

At EVERY single Liverpool match i have seen this year with Suarez, he goes down like shot,
right outside the box, where he loves to score on the free kick. He did the exact theatrics
again today, but didnt get the call, but went into the Refs face over it. haha!

His attempted Karate kick at Hart today, and then the pretend 'I didnt mean it...'

Skertl's shirtpull on EVERY corner. The lightweights falling when they are challenged.

They do this EVERY match. How many goals and points does that get you in a season?

Fucking love it when we beat the scousers. Especially when we don't deserve to.

But we did deserve to win. We should have been out of sight before they caught their breath.

Watching on my stream tonight, I thought they were (marginally) the better side. Their goal had been coming for a while when they finally got it and, at that point, I'd have happily settled for a draw. We definitely improved in the opening 20-25 minutes of the second half, then Liverpool got their second wind and pushed hard for an equalizer. I thought Lee mason was poor. Can't blame him for the offside call against Sterling as that was down to the linesman (shocking call), but Skrtel got away with murder out there tonight. we could easily have had 3 or 4 penalties, countered by the one that they maybe could have had for Lescott doing the same to the klansman. Anyway; all's well that ends well. A win on saturday and we should be more or less safe in the PL for another season!

Suprised that Brentan Rodgers didn't think to mention Skrtel constantly fouling Kompany on every setpiece? Oh well, hope he enjoys his touchline ban the prick.

Great result, but we are far too open. I'm all for attacking, but when we're a goal up in the last 10 minutes then we really need to stop having our CB's or holding midfielders making 80 yard runs into the oppositions box! It's not good for my nerves
