City v Liverpool Post Match Thread

Felt we deserved a point today. So pleased we stood toe to toe with a team that's been a title challenger for so long, speaks volumes about our credentials for the top 4. Easy the two best teams in the league, certainly one of the matches of the season so far. Can't wait for the return leg

It's a bit silly this deserved nonsense

However I will stand by what I said earlier, the best performance by any team in the prem at the Etihad so far this season, I hope it was not your cup final though and you carry on throughout the rest of the season

exactly, if they deserved it they'd have got it.

I hope they don't keep it up, despite their loss today I'd love it if Everton nicked 4th as long term CL footy for either Liverpool or the Rags is far more dangerous for us than Everton getting it, we need a period of dominance to cement ourselves globally so Liverpool getting their mojo back and their worldwide audience interested is bad for our conversion rate, as tragic as it sounds.

Not good enough.

Not picking on you mate but it is funny - this season it feels like no matter what the score not matter who we beat someone finds something that's not good enough. We're a miserable bunch at times :)

I take your points though. About Lescott and about Yaya.

Being bankrolled by a billionaire can probably make you lose a sense of perspective I guess. Easy to forget where you came from.
Have you forgotten about the Moores family ''bankrolling'' your club throughout the seventies and eighties then? I'd have thought you would have been up on your ist'ree La.

Prick.

That was one hell of a ride.... Yes we kept suarez quite but the goal scoring threat did not come from him it shows they are just not a 1 man team... they are dead cert for top 4 imo... Merlin, zab, and neg where outstanding today but motm was joe... IMHO it should have been a draw.. but who cares 3 points is 3 points

I bet you were gutted your team didn't win.

Oh do fuck off with your sanctimonious bullshit. Being bankrolled by a billionaire has got nothing to do with losing perspective. We all know where we come from, we don't need some fucking scouser coming on to tell us.

Well, there are a fair few Dippers who have forgotten the money bankrolled into Liverpool in the '80s! I don't give a toss about the money. There hasn't been one premier title won on a shoestring. Why does the money become an issue when it's spent on MCFC. Fuckin' borin' shite from a bunch of bloody hypocrites.

Indeed, you can track their demise from when the lottery came in.... No more pools money and look what happened.

Re: Liverpool Thread 2013/14

Sterling was good. Suarez was quiet and a cheat. Henderson was ok, maybe 6th or 7th best midfielder on the pitch.
