Whinging whining scousers - they lost not because of the ref but because their strikers missed some sitters

And some of the words used by Rogers are utterely cringeworthy words - brave is one that springs to mind - they are playing a football match not going over the top at the somme

Really really hope these whinging whining self pitying tossers domt make the top 4 - as bad as it sounds i think i would prefer the rags to finish 4 although in an ideal world Barcodes would be best just cant see it

This being the same ref that officiated in Liverpool's 1-0 win in the Carling Cup at The Ethiad, giving a Penalty!
Obviously showing some bias there!! And has given Liverpool a penalty on 2 other previous stints as referee .

Lot of waxing lyrical these last couple of days about Liverpool and how they are now a factor in the title race. I would agree with that as they will definitely play a big part in where the silverware goes, but what I would also say is that (IMO) its nice to be almost completely ignored in the afternmath of the game.

We are a juggernaut of a team that is going to be very difficult to stop now it has started to gather momentum and the press seem to have accepted that, choosing to focus on plucky Liverpool rather than ourselves.

It doesnt matter who played well, who deserved this, that or the other at this point, I have no doubt the manager sees it very much as 3 points in the bag and onwards to Palace, let the rest of the football world witter on about a game that happened 2 days ago.

I have just read in the Times newsapaper this morning that Brendan's press conference after the game was a masterstroke of football Management...
Yes really it was. He intentionally deflected all the focus off the defeat thus wrong footing the media and easing all of the
pressure of his team. Infact the Times said he is the protege of Jose and infact Jose would have been immensely proud. So much so he would have
allowed himself a wry grin being so pleased with his pupil.
So there you have it. Brendan wasn't being bitter or angry or allowing his emotions to get the best of him like a spoilt child - nope.
I really don't think there is any coinicidence whatsover that the sports editor of the Times is huge Liverpool supporting scouser - do you? No didn't think so.
And just to top it off in the Sunday Times tomorrow there is a special colour pull out special brochure called 'Kop Idols' - showcasing all the legendary Liverpool strikers down the years. I kid you not.
I wonder why I read the Telegraph more often than not these days?
