Apparently, it's the first time in 80 years that we stuck 5 past the candle wavers.
@oakiecokie,
@Dave Ewing's Back 'eader and
@Vienna_70 were probably there!
Oi! You cheeky bugger!
I'm old, but not that old.
My dad wasn't even born for another three months after that.
Brilliant from City today and for those who say that the red card altered the game, I say bollocks! We were already leading and controlling the match. I can't see how Klippety can complain about the red; it was clearly reckless and dangerous. Eddie is lucky that he wasn't badly injured.
Several outstanding performances, especially Stones, Mendy and Agüero, but my MotM was de Bruyne, who was fantastic throughout. His assists for the first two goals showed what a wonderful player he is.
Very selfless by Sergio for Gabriel's second. Kun could easily have taken the shot himself and would probably have scored, but as is the Pep way, he laid the ball off to a better-placed teammate.
It was great to see Eli get some game time. I thought I'd seen the last of him in a City shirt and it was right to take Nico off, considering he'd received a yellow card and had travelled back from international duty.
Finally, well done to the Liverpool fans, who stayed till the end to support their team.
Not.
