City v Liverpool Post Match Thread

Klopp high fiving mane at the final whistle, some wild Scouse celebrations there.
They had to bring Salah and mane on to beat us our EDS plus a few first steamers.
Enough said.

Players who we thought could prove something to us and failed: Tosin, Humphreys

Players who we hoped could shine but were average: Foden, Diaz, Gomes, Roberts

Players you didn't know much about but shined: Harrison, Garcia, Bolton

Player who is our new backup DM: ZINCHENKO!

IMO:

Impressive performances: Garcia, Bolton, Nmecha, Harrison, Zinchenko, Foden, Mahrez

Solid performances: Diaz, Garre, Sane, Bernardo, Denayer

Poor performances (still rusty maybe): Diaz, Gomes, Dele-bashiru

Very poor: Roberts, Humphreys, Tosin,

I agree with that as well except for Foden, he at most had a solid performance. Is Diaz in betwee solid and poor in your list? Which is basically average I guess lol. Nmecha is somewhere in between so impressive is fine.

Good 60 mins but last 30 it was defence v attack, not surprising due to the difference in quality of player.

Hopefully when the real football starts we do better against the press from Mane and Salah as once again we really struggled to play any football when it was deployed.
