I thought the players worked extremely hard today. I couldn't fault the effort

Aguero seemed to come to life with half an hour to go. Up to that point he had been very quiet

Liverpool played a very good game and the game was set up perfectly for them with City under pressure to win

The balance wasn't right in midfield and the passing out of defence wasn't great....Lescott nearly gifted Suarez a goal on one occasion.

But we kept at it, and could have snatched it, but a point was a fair result

For me that equaliser changed the game. In games like that they are always going to be very hard fought and close games. Just our luck that they score when Dzeko was down. We had a chance to clear it as well. Ref had a shocker for about 1/2 an hour but it was self-inflicted as well as you play to the whistle

Looked ragged and were second to most things today. Liverpool looked sharper than us. Really missed Tevez's fight up front, can't think why he wasn't brought on for Dzeko. Liverpool were the better team

Let me make it quite clear. Sturridge was let go because of his attitude not his financial demands (this £50k a week was fictional). Having been bummed off by us and Chelsea, he's hopefully realised he has to work at it to be taken seriously and boy he worked at it today.

I can only assume from the last few performances that Mancini knows he's out this season and doesn't give a fuck anymore. We're just not playing in the way that gets us wins. No pressure, sloooow movement of the ball and little movement off it.

Yes I know, its a pity Mancini wasn't manager before Hughes, because he would more than likely still be here. Just too slow and predictable again, we've become so easy to defend against if the manager has half a brain. Not just changes in player personnel but tactics are needed this summer. Amazing goal by Kun though, will stand out as a highlight in a rather dull season compared to last year's.

we invested heavily to reach the top and stopped once we got there
