Another hard luck story from the candle lighters . they dominated for 40 minutes apparently , just like they dominated the premiership until april , maybe they should look at their manager of the year , perhaps he cant motivate the players unless theres a minutes silence and few wreaths knocking about.
We won in a canter , never got out of 2nd gear , the difference is when we go 2 goals down , we fight , unlike the surrender monkey scousers.

Has an inflated view of himself. I don't rate him either although it's his job to promote his team

Just got in.

We were excellent and I mean excellent.

Liverpool will be top 4 but we brushed them aside without even taking our slippers off.

Kompany and Jovetic were excellent.

Fernando however was fucking unbelievable. He is such a player.

I said in the summer we'll beat 95 points and I've seen enough to be very confident in that prediction.

Once Mangala is in, Fernando is fully settled and Aguero is 100% fit we'll be in the top 4 teams in Europe.

Also just got in. Great win.
No way did we 'brush them aside'.
Simply we were more clinical , but they bossed the first half.
On another day they might have gone in at half time one up, but they didn't and the margins are very slim.
We need to learn from that first half, we were very sluggish.
But second half we turned up and it was alright on the night.

I disagree strongly. Liverpool had a decent amount of possession first 30 minutes but didn't do anything to concern us and definitely didn't 'boss' us.

Felt to me like we were very much in control and didn't seem at all concerned by what they were doing. We weren't 'sluggish', we were just in 1st gear because we're that good we didn't need to do anything much else.

Once we stepped it up, they had absolutely no answer to us.

thought during the newcastle game that we looked so much physically stronger and assured all over the pitch compared to last year, looked to have gone up a level, in part to fernando but even jovetic and clichy look imposing and fitter. very early days though and we need to keep feet on the ground.

I thought the same Len,I was worried we were going to concede up until the goal,Liverpool were the better team first half.Think Fernando needs some help in the middle against the better teams or he will be fcuked by December.

Second half we dominated,Fernado was awesome as was Vinny.Their defence is shite despite the money spent,that was the difference along with our clinical finishing.
