I am here in town for the game -- would love to go to the unveiling so if anyone knows where it's being held, etc., I'd be thrilled!

"Fan Fest", with trophies, Battery Park Ball Field (West St @ Murray St). 11am-3pm.

City supporters were well outnumbered by Chelsea fans (mostly bandwagon) at last year's match at Yankee Stadium, expect the same with the Scouse this time. But maybe the MCFC promotions people will get their act together and give out thousands of free City shirts the way Chelsea did with theirs.

I remember; we were heavily outnumbered on the day. I seem to think it was scarves that Chelski were giving away though, not shirts? They all had Chelsea scarves as I recall.

Could be wrong though; I had a few that day...

Either way, enjoy it. I will be out of the country unfortunately.
