City v Norwich Post Match Discussion Thread

Actually thought Dzeco was ok today. First touch was quite good.
Rodwell the shining star, and maybe subbed to preserve fitness - who knows....

Roll on the summer... And plenty of speculation.

I hope the new man in charge can sort this out. Today was very disappointing. The defence was shocking............ Champions League?????

Nah mate going down to the 2nd division was a disaster, finishing second in the PL isn't. How can you blame Mancini when he's sat on a beach? It's about time the players took some responsibility for these types of performances.

On a positive note Rodwell looked pretty decent, look forward to seeing more of this from him.

It has been a disaster, in terms what we should be aiming for. Left behind by united in the league, embarrassing Europe campaign, out the league cup and an shocking performance the fa cup final. You cannot put all the blame on the players, Mancini has to take some responsibility. Looking back on the season, I doubt you'd get into double figures on how many really good performances we have had.

What I mean about im glad about Mancini going is this is his team what was out there today, just not good enough. I was unhappy about him getting sacked last week, but now I'm thinking it was for the best and we needed a change to get these players playing consistently good again.

What are you on about you numpty. We need change to get these players playing good again? But Mancini is no longer at the club so they should have played out of their skins tonight if Mancini was the sole problem. Maybe some will see now that actually we just have a lot of mercenaries who only give a shit about picking up their wages and pissing off on holiday. And don't give me the "nothing to play for" bollocks a lot of people still went and paid money to watch them play today if that's not a good enough reason for them to decide to play then they can fuck off.

Mancini brought these once good 'mercenaries' to the club, won the title with them last season. Now this year we are just shit. The only sympathy I've got for Mancini this season is did he honestly buy them players last summer, or was it marwood like everyone suggests?

I was a Mancini inner, but now looking back on the season who can honestly say it was a good season. I can't wait for the new season. A new manager who will evaluate who is up to the job, bring in some quality additions and get us fighting on all fronts.

I don't care if we Weren't playing for jack shit that was an embarrassment Norwich record against city at our place In our history they have only beat us 3 times make that 4 with one of the best squads ever shocking indiscipline display BUT understandable with no manager at the helm Pellegrini got one hell of a job next season to upstage what Mancini has achieved at our club...

Hasnt he just...Bob would have won that game today.

I would like to say im surprised at that performance but im not, after all we have read in the papers this week about player power, sacking your manager etc and the fact a few of them know they are getting the boot soon, but for goodness sake, the fans deserve better than a loss on the last day at home.Hope some of them feel bad but i wouldnt put money on it.thank god it is over and txiki can get things sorted

Disgusting performance against a very average Norwich.
This last week will not only affect our transfer activities but also our sponsorship deals that are supposed to take us to the next level in the worldwide market.

Might I give a little suggestion for you to allow yourself an hour or two to calm down before posting.

I'm sorry but what was not calm about my post? If me telling the uninterested players to fuck off is a bit too much for your delicate eyes may i suggest you go check out the CBBC website, that might cater to you more.

I would do, but the new series of Scooby Doo they're showing just isn't good enough, imo.

I mean calling people numpties and ranting on about mercenaries etc. Just calm down a bit is all I'm saying.

I don't really buy this "bunch of mercenaries" idea, but if it is true, it might explain why we did well with Bob firmly in charge (possibly being an arse-hole), and have trailed off badly at the end of this season when it must have been clear that Bob was on his way out, so there was no need to fear his wrath any more.

Well today's game just tops off a pretty crap season!
Norwich played pretty well today and had more to play for as extra 5 million for every place u go up in the league. But really our players should of been playing to thank the fans for their support!!
But please I would love for someone to tell me why oh why is yaya toure is so untouchable?
I went to both semi and final of fa cup and god the guy really winds me up! He is the most lazy, frustrating, inconsistent player ever to where a blue shirt! And what gets me more is fans from other clubs rant and rave about the guy?!
As for kolorov, jeez this guy needs to be sold now!
Sad to say but I think tevez is off, his little wave to the fans when he went off was his way of saying goodbye. Just hope kompany not playing and rumors of augero going are not true as would love to see both players in a city shirt next season. Also zab, Milner and Barry I think should be back next season as well!
Oh well I suppose now we need to get behind the owners, welcome the next manager and hopefully new players and look forward to winning the league back of the red bastards over the road!
