Oh so you would rather have Mancini, who gets so many line-ups/subs wrong?
Not much wrong with the line up/subs, the players themselves just didn't perform, next question.

I'm sorry, but that kind of excuse just doesn't work.
Now, who's fault is it that the players didn't come in to this match the way they should have?

I said it before, I think Mancini is a decent tactician, but he is a poor man-manager. Very poor... and a lack of communication is what stands in way between us and the PL title this year.
Mancini tried to get them to attack and up the tempo. He and Platt were very animate on the touchline.

The players want to take 5 passes before getting the ball anywhere instead of taking risks with passes like Pizarro.

Quite frankly, besides Yaya, our midfield lacks quality passers that can get the ball forward quickly and speed up the tempo.

Our attackers scored 3 good goals today, our defenders leaked 3 soft ones..

yet its the attackers getting the flack.. me no understand.

Think people are just a bit frustrated after today pal

Then they should take the frustration out on those more deserving of it.. Its like blaming the victim for a crime.

Kolarov, Pizarro and Johnson only the players that turned up today. Even Tevez did more than Dzeko and Balotelli the whole game.

The toure brothers was awful today.
I must have missed Tevez scoring more than twice and winning more than one penalty.

He was up and down the pitch all the time. Worked hard. Balotelli and Dzeko did fuck all. I would rather have Paul dickov ahead of Balotelli and even play with 10 men rather than some City players!
"Balotelli and Dzeko did fuck all"

2 goals for Mario
Dzeko won a penalty, which we scored, yeah they did "fuck all"....

-- Mar 31st, '12, 17:24 --

Not much wrong? He played Dzeko without johnson/kolorav in the starting line-up ffs. The players play how the manager tells them to play like, tippy tappy shit ain't working for us.
Kolarov was in the starting line up

No desire and a lack of confidence throughout the side now.

The space we allowed them in the back half was criminal at times and we were asking for trouble.

I just hope we play with a bit more steel and guts in the remaining seven games but the title is over now.

Every player was well below what they are capable of.

Rather than play with the flair and skill and quicker movement we had in the first half of the season we have stopped our forward press.

When we did that in the last 5 minutes especially with Pizarro coming on we saw what we can do.

mancini is useless he didn't make a goal line clearance

You gotta' laugh though... the manager says he doesn't trust Balotelli, then goes and plays him the day after in a game which is pretty much a must win.

So you would have either started with one up front or with a clearly unfit Tevez today?

Well I don't think such comments are going to do anyone any favours, how is a player supposed to react to a comment where the manager states in public that he's not fully confident in him?

As for Dzeko... we're screwed either way, I admired his efforts. But the way we play is completely different to what he's used to. It just doesn't suit him and it was a cock-up of a signing to make.

Why sign a player who scored pretty much all in goals in bundesliga from crosses? We're a side that has one primary winger in the entire squad... and that winger happens to just cut inside and shoot whenever he gets the chance.

Why didn't Barry play any part?

Fook knows. The gaping holes in front of our back four first half were down to this and this alone. The manager made that call
Because according to 90% of BM all you need is De Jong to protect the back 4. :(

Truth is, you want to protect the back 4? Possess the ball!!! Pizzaro and Barry with Yaya ahead of them. Nasri to one side, and SIlva to the other. Aguero up top. That is our best front 6. Has been seen the first day Pizaaro stepped on the field.

Two points in the last six ain't good enough - four minutes added on is a joke

nothing wrong with the 4 minutes added.....it's the fact we only played 3 of them

Its hard to believe our side got so far this season after watching that shit performance?? No speed, no discipline, no desire..Oh yeah! no width. Ever since utd went top looks like we have given up .

we were clueless till Pizzaro came on.

Mancini looked deflated even when we equalized, he's thrown the towel in too!

You must have missed him celebrating then!

Dzeko is a goner in the summer but i think he left menatlly in january

If Dzeko is gone, who will the wingers that we buy aim for? Balo? He drops to floor after a touch from opposition ffs! Silva? Aguero? Tevez? All too short I'm afraid

ever heard of playing to feet???

Yes I have, and that's what's pizarro is for, plays the perfect pass to the feet of wingers/strikers. Silva used to do it but...
