City v Swans post match thread

We seem to struggle against teams that stay organized and pass well. Yes we played poorly but you have to give Swansea credit they defended well and broke menacingly. The through ball for Gomis was incredible and if were honest a draw was the least they deserved. Thought Joe was magnificent again and basically saved us from defeat. All in all a valuable three points that keeps us in the mix.

Yes they would. But that's because they have a different agenda to some of us. I'm happy we won. I thought it was a good game in difficult conditions. Swansea played well and like all premier league sides want to put on a good performance at the home of football. I reckon there are about 70% glass half empty merchants on this forum. Keep up the positive posting Cheadle. Everyone else keep the faith.

What a pile of shite

I think it was a great win

Swansea are not mugs and just out of form and the manager getting the sack give them a bit of fighting spirit but city took the points
yes we are way of the team that started 5 and 0 and I will never say if not for the injury to ????? but today was just about the 3 points and move on. the games are coming fast and the squad is at large playing every week so with champions league midweek and the weather today yes the weather Swansea did not have a game midweek the legs at the end was gone and if not for a bit of luck the manager and players would have been cannon fodder

great win and Swansea will beat many other in the league if they show that spirit

Just to mention, if you have a different opinion of the game, then argue your point.

But you and others who are telling peopie who have supported City for over 40 years that we would prefer our team to get beat, how about you just FUCK OFF ?

Whilst the performance wasn't good, I hope people can recognize and appreciate the character shown to dig out a winner with such little time left. The will to win is certainly there. Yaya deserved that I thought he was one of our better performers today, possibly 2nd best after Hart.

It is worrying though how our league performances just haven't been getting any better for the last two/three months or so (every game since our 1-0 win at Palace). Even worse that this is the second time we've gone into a league game on a high after the Champions League against a struggling side and put in a disappointing performance.

Still, on the positive side, this is done now and next week's a new game which we've got an extra day to prepare for. And with the possibility of Kompany and Aguero coming back, itcould maybe, just maybe, be a much better one.

No excuse I know but the 24/7 rain doesnt suite Citys play. We are a highly skilfull side and these weather conditions help the opponents more so it becomes a leveller. BMG a few days ago massive match. Lets give the players a break today. Ugly 3 points but back top.......VK SA and Zabba STILL to come back in.How many teams would have remained at this level without so many top players out incl the best striker in the world.
