Lads what's your best bets for when this game gets played?

Trying to pick flights before its confirmed and the rags snap em all up!
Think itv will have match and there peak viewing Saturday evening 5 or 5.30
Up to police though

And let both sets of fans get tanked up in the pub all day!

why are people so worried ,take one game at a time and enjoy it,we have imo the best squad in the league player for player, liverpool have just as many games as us,maybe slightly easier but the way they go about their games nowadays they could be missing a fair few due to suspensions and injuries.

as for the united game well adrenaline will carry us through that easy same as the semis in the cc.

we are in a great position, top of the league ,3 games v liverpool when both teams have a hectic schedule and united at home.our squad had quality running through it to cope, have liverpools ? or even uniteds.

come the end of january we will be in the league cup final.top of the league and through to the next round of the f.a.cup,thats not arrogance, that is belief, something i havent ever really had as a city fan UNTIL NOW.

BLUE ARMY.

Hey come on now.
A couple of seasons ago we might be thinking Oh err not sure.
NOW THEY MUST BE SHITTING BRICKS.

Cannot Wait, fuck the Scousers and them off, can it get better.
Super Mario will destroy Liverpool and Djeko will run the Rags Ragged

a few short years ago id have been mortified at this run of fixtures now i cant wait we probably wont win em all but we will most of them

Lets just all enjoy the ride, be loud, proud of where we've been as a club, where we are now, and all being well, where we are going.
Bring em all on, we will fight the good fight, do our best and see what happens to us as we move through the season.
One things for sure, united know we are here now and they will feel our power more than ever before. It's time to change things around in this great City, time for the blues to come to the fore and make some new history.

We have the power of 6...they will fear us make no mistake!!

Wonder if baconface puts out his first eleven , will be first time in 3rd round he has done , under strength teams against Leeds Liverpool in last couple of years
We wait and wonder

Ferguson has a major issue here.

IF he puts out an under-strength team and they get annihilated (again) he is going to get some BIG-TIME flak from the media and their fans.

Problem is, IF he puts out his best 11 and they STILL get mullered, then what? ;o)

Personally, I would much rather have had an easier draw and done for the Rags further down the line, but I definitely think that the old men at 'Olde Trafford' are quaking in their boots at this moment in time and will fear this game more than us....notwithstanding the fact that we will need to be in the right frame of mind for this one and not take anything for granted.

Come on City - this could finish their season!

No worries anymore about beating the rags on a level playing field, but at the end of the day we will have to play a big premier league game in advance of the tie then we will have one eye on the semi final of the carling cup.

Anyone remember the Liverpool game prior to the semi final last season ?

It will take some doing to beat Liverpool in the league, the rags and then Liverpool again in the cup in consecutive matches. Something has to give. We're a great team but we're not superhuman. To compound matters the first game against Liverpool we will have only had two days rest compared to their 5. It really is a joke.

The powers that be are determined to throw every obstacle in our path to prevent us bieng successful, that is as clear as day.

"Sir Alex Ferguson was lauded today on the heels of United's 3-1 loss to City for his long-term vision. Having deliberately masterminded his team's exit from the Carling Cup and FA Cup, Ferguson is ready to have the last laugh as his team focus solely on the Premier League and Champions League while Mercenary Moneybags City are left facing four competitions." - Neil Custis, The S*n
