City v The Rags (merged)

Didn't the Rags beat us 3-0 the last time we were the holders after we had got past Hull?

Anyone who think's this is going to be a walkover is totally deluded.

Could we have had worse draws this year? I wouldn't normally mind it but this whole succession of murderous fixtures + unlucky draws doesn't seem very random. Napoli, Bayern, Liverpool, Arsenal, rags. Random my arse. This is the first real opponent Rags have drawn in any competition.

And right as that fucking ACoN begins.
Few weeks before ACoN so hopefully hold onto Yaya

Play our strongest side ,nothing better than beating that lot ,its also a mental thing they will be full of fear of losing to us !!
Who will be favourites for the game ?!!
oh yes not in someones lifetime will CITY be !
CITY CITY CITY

The Cup games in January will hurt us in the League.

The rest of the Premiership will be taking a breather while we have really intense draining games against Utd and Liverpool.

I disagree aswell. We have more than good enough squad to cope. And those fixtures might look tough on paper. But in the end....it's 11 players who will be on the pitch against us regardless of the opponent.

Dont think this tough fixture thing will affect our rotation that much either. It's not like our second string isn't good enough to win against Liverpool etc...dont think he planned on putting his best side in both FA cup and Carling cup.

Think Mancini will play a mix of key players and those from second string in all of these games. And let's remember, we play Liverpool home, then United at home...and then another game against Liverpool home.

It's not like the squad needs to travel too much either.

Lads what's your best bets for when this game gets played?

Trying to pick flights before its confirmed and the rags snap em all up!

All reasonable comments but if we are still flying in the league and in both domestic cups at the end of January it will be monumental

They should be more worried about this game than us. We have a better first 11 and a much stronger squad than they so. We are scoring freely and we have a stronger defence.

Delighted to get drawn against them in the Cup, 2 opportunities this season to beat the crap out of them infront of home support. Should be a blue riot...

fuk the txt's have started arriving, now you'l see the 6-1 was a fluke,11 against 11 this time. they really are sad bastards and the only way to shut the fuckers up is simply to beat them
