Sterling gone back to his powder puff best. Did nothing whatsoever and his shooting is abysmal I thought PEP had the ability to bring him to his Liverpool best but he has regressed into last years frustrating, ineffective waste of money

I agree, he could be a good impact sub and rotation player but he isn't good enough to be a key player for us and never will be. He's too reliant on pace which is a redundant skill when you're up against a parked bus like tonight. Sanchez is the most important bit of business we could possibly do this summer.

Quiz question:
They came for a point and got a point. We wanted a win and got a point.

Who's the winner?
We're now ahead of them with a more favourable run in; we got 4/6 points against them this season, we dominated & deserved to win even if we didn't need to do so. They may have "wanted a point", but it's a pretty risky tactic given their run in. Dropped points to Spurs/Arsenal & they'll likely miss out now (unless winning Europa).

Seems strange to me that they're celebrating this point; a win would have put them in a strong position in the top 4 race.

he has to,pep will go up a notch or two if he

you seriously pay to watch sky tv?

Twas on offer Marco but I do reiterate that we should not get our knickers in a twist because our players and managers do not.
A Happy clappy love in.

Onwards and upwards to eternal glory.

Still not answering a simple question. You shouldn't become a politician.

Your ridiculous question of a worse performance in the last five years. Why five ? Why not 6 or 7 or 2. It is a question not worth answering. I discussed the game with you and player performances and positives and all you can say is "we are dogshite", "we are embarrassing", "an embarrassment to the Manchester derby".

I will leave it at that as your "arguments" are self defeating and talking through your arse for so long must be making it uncomfortable for you to sit down.

United might not have shown any attacking intent but they are not shiite. Not as a defensive unit. They have the second best defensive record in the league and have taken points of most of the top teams. And remember they beat Chelsea not that long ago. Yeh I am dissapointed we didn't win and some of our team were not at their best but its not the end of the world and 3rd place is still in our hands.

Than go and support them or any Mourinho team.

Ask yourself the simple question. Who is going home the happier? Maureen or Pep? The papers tomorrow will concur it was a Maureen masterclass and That he got one over on Pep. Unfortunately I have to agree. The scum were fookin clueless and we were not much better. Whatever match this season you wish to choose I would suggest that we have played better under Pellers and Bob

No one fucking cares you boring troll!

Us. For united to come to ours and play for a point just shows how far they've fallen. 25 years of ferguson ruined with performances like that tonight

Rags celebrating like they won the league, how embarassing, how the mighty have fallen

My neck hurts after watching the shower of shite that the rags call football.

When sterling, sane, aguero ran at them they what themselves. Shame aguero and sterling didn't take their first half chances.

Positives: vinny immense, Zabba and Ota looked good.

Jesus still looks like he has it!!

I think the biggest story that nobody is talking about is Aguero's finishing or lack of. Everybody talks about the back line but you could probably look at almost every dropped point this season and point to a missed sitter from one of the forwards. Nobody outside our fan base appears to have noticed how consistently poor we are in front of goal.

Given that Sane, Sterling and Jesus are clearly the future, is it time to make a change with Aguero and bring in a striker who is maybe more clinical, is more comfortable finishing from crosses and actually poses an aerial threat from crosses?

Would a Lewandowksi type of player open up our game more? At the minute we simply cannot cross the ball until we are in the 4th or 5th phase of an attack, where the opposition may have cleared the ball 3 or 4 times only for us to push them back. Only then do we look capable of getting enough bodies in the box to make crossing seem worthwhile. Too many of our players simply cannot move the ball quick enough for us to be able to create chances without going wide, yet when we go wide, none our forwards are clinical enough finishing from crosses. On top of that, practically every cross has to have a tonne of pace on it as we have no aerial threat.

Having an aerial threat would allow us to cross earlier in the attacking phase (or would at least make us less predictable) and would probably open up more space for our other attackers.

I do realise the idea of moving on from Aguero does sound ridiculous, but given the money we have invested in our younger attackers we are clearly going to stick with and probably start them (as was the case in Jan). Now do we continue to field the same attacking personnel next season in the hope that this seasons sitter-fest is a freak run of bad luck or do we maybe look closer at the reasons behind the missed chances and make a bold move?

Kompany was a rock tonight had rashford in his back pocket all night. Wrap him in cotton wool amd stick him on a Ledley King training regime, whatever it takes to prolong his career for us.

Because they weren't very good, it's not the build up that's the problem.

i disagree...i thought our build up/final cross/pass were really poor...a couple of decent balls in by KDB...one at the start one near the end but they would have both been worlds if Aguero had finished either especially the second......sane sterling and navas when he came on (and not unsurprisingly) were all poor when it came to the final ball......and there was nothing like a silva esque pass by KDB or anyone else all night......we do miss him and we don't have anyone at present who can fill his boots when he aint on the pitch and yo need someone like him when facing 10 defenders
