If you half the price you do not get double the crowd and vice versa.
Cheaper tickets always mean less revenue, and both clubs need to agree on price.
In 2000 away at Villa in this cup was £15 - so £17.50 almost 12 years later is not the end of the world.
In 2001 Brum 6-0 in the LC was £17 if you paid at the gate on the Kippax - which seemed too much at the time with season tickets being about £11 a game in the north stand.

Not a chance mate, don't think we've ever had a crowd below 20,000 at the Etihad and so it sure isn't going to happen now we're champions!!!
