City v Villa Ticket news

anyone know what entrance it is to get through the glass entrance of the colin bell where the players enter ? cos i see normal season ticket holders go through there

Are they not the people who have the boxes?

That's such a nice price for the tickets that I'm considering going. I wouldn't normally have done so otherwise (work away) but I hate Villa and I want to watch us beat them.

Should be a decent crowd. Those who go should really make an effort to create a good atmosphere. The reason I say this is because with league games almost impossible to get tickets for, a lot of returning fans or newer blues should be shown how fun it is attending Eastlands no matter the competition or opposition. A club our size should be striving to get these people attending and rather than looking at it as a night to just watch without getting over excited, the regulars should be showing these people how we back our side. The prices are very reasonable and show our owners want to give the opportunity to everyone to see great football at very reasonable price and that's rare in modern day football.

The 16-21 year olds price works out dearer than the same age band season ticket price if divided by 19 league games. So you pay more to see two reserve sides in a cup that no one is that arsed about being knocked out of than you would a title deciding match in a Manchester derby :-/

£22.50 is a good price if all matches were at that price, but with Arsenal two days before, Fulham few days after and many doing Madrid, Amsterdam and Dortmund it's a lot when it's all added up.

Villa will bring 3-400, we will have 18,000 or so, it will be less than 20,000.

Can see Villa only bringing around 2,000-2,500.

We Should get 35K+ imo. Its a good chance to see the likes of Sinclaire, Nastacic and if he plays Garcia, a couple of the young lads thrown in as well.

I like to watch some of the fringe players get a game!

Anybody know why this is?

I presume it's to help the stewards out as from a distance it would be hard to distinguish if it is a real cig or a fake one. False accusations could cause unnecessary confrontation.
I believe you are allowed to carry a 3ft flaming torch around though, this includes on Airplanes,Boats, Helecopters and Stadiums.
