Just having a read of their main forum

A few points, what a few of us suspected many are closet rags

They think they actually played well in the first half, rather than we were poor

Some of the insults about us both club and fans are quite bad, given their ownership I would not bother to preach on the morality of modern football

Typical shit from a tin pot little club and it's pathetic fans

They might be ***** about our money but Watford aren't Crawley or anything and they battered us first half.

Let's not become rags now, they could have done us on a different day. They might have forgotten where we came from but I hope that we don't pull the same trick

Last season they were singing United songs, my point still stand their ownership is a little dodgy to say the least, and it is correct to say we allowed them to play well in the first half by dint of our disorganisation, we go organised and smashed them, if the same team would have been out for the full 90 in would have 8-0

The turnaround in the 2nd half was obvious. It was a siege of their penalty box and a total turnaround on the 1st half.

But complacent as we were in the 1st half, Watford did well to capitalise on our weakness. They played good football

You couldn't possibly be more raggish if you tried there. We played a good, hard working team who nearly fucked us.

I disagree, I watched the whole game, the 2nd half was like the normal City of late, fluid quick football, and the goals flew in, the first half was the worst I have seen us play in a long time and that had nothing to do with Watford working hard, if the "normal" City team had turned up in the first half it would have been a cricket score

Nothing remotely raggish about that, it's a statement of what I saw with my own eyes

Fair enough, I think that a prediction of a 8-0 score that we haven't achieved in that past 30 years is a bit daft.

Pellegrini was very criticial of our 1st half performance, but you still have to give Watford credit for taking advantage, and having the courage of attacking us. If their manager had held his bottle, and carried on attacking in the 2nd half, they'd have probably won. Instead he decided to shut up shop, and it just played into our hands

Watford had a go in the first half, the way they set up caught us cold. If there is anyone who couldn't see that then you don't know your football. Rodwell and Richards did not help that cause they upset our balance. This was dealt with at half time and the rest, as they say, is history. You have to give Watford credit for their set up, I'm not that biased that it affects my judgment of commenting fairly on the game. They were deserving of their lead at half time.

As I said above though, it was dealt with and the only thing that matters now is the score. We will be in the pot come tomorrow afternoon and we are still fighting in 4 competitions. That will do for me.

Some of their posts on the main Watford Fourm make them look small minded. One actually moans that we celebrated the third goal and " goaded " them.

One thinks northerners don't get sarcasm. This is a club that took the piss out if ourselves for fucking years!
