City v West Ham CoC Semi-Final 1st Leg Post Match Thread

Took a while but there's Big Sam bringing up "the hundreds and hundreds of millions" we throw around the place.

He's using every excuse apart from "I'm a shit manager". Plenty of teams don't have our money or players but they still give us a good game. Fat Sam is just a shit manager and I will be amazed if he's still in a job next week.

Ruthless.

This is the best football I have ever witnessed by City in 40 years. The sky really is the limit with this team at the moment. Although West Ham were poor we can only beat what is is in front of us, and these type of performances will install fear into whoever we come up against in the future. What a time to be a Blue!

I'm not sure West Ham were noticeably poorer than Norwich or Spuds and neither is an abysmal side. for 10 minutes thy had a lot of the ball, forced a few corners, pressed us well and made life difficult. The first goal changed that, but I would be slow to say West Ham were relegation fodder.

The reality is that we were just brilliant tonight.

As you say, what a time to be a blue

On to Wembly.

Can see MP playing a fairly strong side at Upton Park , no reason why he shouldn't.
He could play the under 14's and we'll still be at wembley. Its a week off for the majority of the first team.

Probably right but I think MP especially when things are going well has a bit of a ruthless streak in him.

Injuries aside I am sure you will see the vast majority of the starting eleven start the game.
He'll start with a decent (holding) side and sub in youngsters and returnees in the second half to give them some game time.

Money talk?!
That's f*****g ironic from the eighth highest paid manager IN THE WORLD.
2.9 million a year from the pornsters.....now that's robbery Sam

Right then.

40+ years as a City fan within a family full of Anfield season ticket holders. (You can but amagine how painful that has been).

Oh my god, how good are we now.

Seen some amazing games live in my time, Hinchcliffe bullet header, winning away at Blackburn to gain promotion after being battered in the first half and the glorious 6-1 at the swamp.

Tonight however was simply amazing, total control football and score at will.

P.S. How good was Demy in midfield when he came on, but every single player was top class.

I salute you fellow Blues, and let's just hope the scum overcome the 1 goal deficit against Sunderland.

Fooking happy days! :-)

They are playing the best football I have ever seen anywhere!!
Unbelievable team.

The new era is here fellow blues.

It truly is a special time to be a city supporter, as my username suggests I watched my first match in 1980 and while I can recall special matches during that time I cannot recall a more special time in our history. Looking back I would not change anything, all those difficult times just make the present golden period taste even better.

F**king glory hunter!

I am so ashamed...lol!

I like 6-0 s

I like us being 3 up at half time as well, makes watching the game stress free. FFS i didn't sign up for this when I started watching City :-)

Anyone else laughing at the irony of Danny Mills accusing West Ham players of not earning their wages?

Regulation win. Hope they charge a tenner for away leg.
