i've said before that bob's substitutions worry me, taking tevez off tonight was sheer madness.

Nah mate, Carlos ran his socks off and I reckon Bob had told him to do that and he would be hooked after 65 mins.

Saying that though, Dzeko did fook all for his 25/30 mins on the pitch.....

I think my laryngitis is messing with my head. Whilst he didn't do as much as some players, I thought he was taking the ball down very well, hold up play was good.

Robbed by the ref and linesmen however that shouldn't cloud the fact that we are simply not good enough in Europe.

No width, no pace, central midfielders with no engine or passing range.

Suddenly we are now trying to play a 4-3-3 where 2 of the mids, Barry and Garcia, are donkeys and we have no genuine pace and trickery out wide.

We seriously fucked up in the summer window and haven't addressed any of our obvious shortcomings. We will still truck along in the Prem but can't see us hitting any sort of decent form until we re-shape our squad once again.

Some fucking rag on twitter-Wasn't a freekick that led up the penalty call... in fact, it was a freekick to Ajax and a booking for Aguero.

Probably part of the C**T face rag manager mafia.

To those who claim we lost because of our defensive errors tonight ask yourselves a very straight forward question. If all of the refereeing decisions had been given correctly what would the score had been?

Teams often make mistakes. Good teams try to rectify them. In a perfect world the result reflects the performance of the teams over 90 minutes not the performance of the officials.

The thing is, when the papers write something like that you moan about it. Can't have it both ways.

Carlos was fucked. Anymore running and he would have run himself into the ground. Leave Roberto alone.

gifted them a two goal lead which is worrying

but good comeback and the officials have decided the outcome of the game and denied City a deserved victory in the end by disallowing a perfectly good goal and a stonewall penalty

UEFA can keep their shit officials....I hope we finish bottom and avoid their shitty second rate also rans competition

try again next year when we might actually avoid the group of death for a change

all out to retain the Premier League in the meantime

just wanted to mention clichy was awsome again, if they all played with his passion wed be going through

Tevez looks burned out to me. He is almost 29. he best day are behind him. he cant play all the time IMO.

I agree with those posting Barry is not good enough at this level and I am one of his fans but Javi Garica is also looking extremely one dimensional and, at £16 million, that is just not good enough. The two of them together are pedestrian in the extreme and incapable of providing the necessary impetus and quality we need in midfield.

I've seen one good ref in all the games we've played in Europe over the last four years. I think he was German, maybe Austrian. Other than that I think the European refs are ducking clueless. They fall for every single dive going. Give me our refs every day of the week.
