I don't remember I've ever seen a game that saw only 2 minutes added in 2nd half.
You haven't watched much football. Imagine only one minute, or even, no added time! It happens.

Watched lot of football, thanks.

It does not happen nowadays unless it's 5:0, both teams don't have desire to walk anymore and ref blows it to cut the agony.

I've not seen a game that didn't get at least 3 minutes (that's like some kind of default these days unless some specific events make it more) for years.

There's literally no game where there's no 4-5 subs in 2nd half and that on it's own is 2-2.5 minutes + goals + other stuff. All that happened in the game I was referring to.
We had 3 minutes today.

Hart was at fault for the first goal (going to ground too soon) and Yaya was at fault for the second goal (not tracking De Jong's move), so we can hardly blame the City defence. Zabaleta, Kompany, Nasty and Clichy all played okay. Our problem is the lack of a tough tackler (NDJ) in midfield so maybe De Rossi can answer our prayers in January. Once Silva is back, we will become more creative again. Aguero and Balotelli will thrive. Our worst players were Garcia and Dzeko, who was off-side too often and only seems to enjoy 5-10 minute bursts.

Okay first things first, Proud. Proud that many of our players fought to the end with passion. Enjoyed that the manager still shows passion for this club and maybe this will wake him up and he'll transform the team to go back to last years form. Refs robbed us and if it was any other "raggish" team(manshit, Real, Bayern, etc.) would've gotten the "offside" call and the blatant penalty going their way. Hell even look at this.

Maybe he was indeed offside but how the hell can the linesmen see that unless he has eyes like a hawk! Some posters say that that wasn't even when the ball was played though.

This however is the most blatant penalty not given I have ever seen. As I said above a rag team would've gotten that decision going their way. Twatini just doesn't want us there the c*nt.

By the way is there any chance of qualifying or should we just field reserves for the next 2 games? If not we'll be back next year and if not that year then the next and so on until we qualify, ya hear that Twatini??

moan all you like about the decisions but in 10 Champions League games under Mancini we've been unconvincing in all 10 and outplayed clearly in most. Only against a Bayern B team and 2x against a team relegated from the Spanish league did we get 3 points.

It's been really poor, the team is less than the sum of its parts (how much money spent on this team??), and that reflects very poorly on the manager. We've clearly bought a load of duds in the summer too.

Ah I see the agenda posts have now stretched to the champions league. Excellent. Last night was all platini was it, and the ref had been told to make sure we fail? What with this and refs in the premier league under instruction, I expect it will all be exposed soon, there's simply too much going on for it not to be exposed for what it is. I'm going for a letter, (self destructing), arriving at a random address by mistake and the recipient blowing the whistle - if of course the self destruct mechanism fails.

I don't think we can blame the ref for not winning last night.

Anytime you go 2 down as we did you are always chasing the game. Fantastic effort by the lads. I actually left before injury time for the first time ever and missed the MArio incident but having seen the gif,how that wasn't given I will never know. Oh well. Gotta beat Madrid and Dortmund and hope Madrid lose at home to Ajax. While there is a chance I will never give up.

To be fair I dont think everyone is saying there is an agenda. People are just pointing out that the ref was poor and cost us 3 points (i know some people wont agree about the ref costing us 3 points). I honestly dont think anyone in both the pro-agenda or anti-agenda camps can argue the fact that the ref was poor.

I dont want to blame the ref. What I wont understand is the time between Yaya's goal and half time.

Yaya scored in 22nd minute. We had 23 minutes in first half. And in that part of the match we rarely created a chance to score. Probably no shot on target in that 23 minutes. If we are down to 2-0 or 2-1 in a very important match like this we cant have 20-30 minutes in the match with no action. We looked like a little bit after Yaya goal when we used to sit back after scoring the first goal in a match.

We should go at the same pace, with the same fight as we used to do that in the last 5-10 minutes when we are behind.

You simply cant compare our play in 22-45 minutes to 70-90. minutes.
I simply didnt feel we want to turn it around really in 22-45.
Everyone could feel it in the second half but especially in the last 20 minutes. (Even in the second half Ajax had a good 10 minute spell two, Hart had to make two good saves.)

Another thing is the stats, and from the stats we cant really say we dominated this match.
53-47% possession for us
13 shots for both teams
5 shots on target for both team

Yeah the ref was a joke, he made one or two big mistakes (not sure about the offside, was very angry with Dzeko there as he should toss that ball earlier to Kolarov who was running from deeper and ended up in the same line as Dzeko which is very tough for a passing situation when when you wanted to avoid the offside, you just dont risk it with passing it sooner, _Dzeko should do it just a second eariler if you watch in a video.)

And a team like City shouldnt concede two corner goals in a match. Especially not in CL.
Ajax scored 3 goals from corners against us from their 5 goals.

and corners are really not question of quality, players, world class players etc. It is about concentration mostly. Jump for that ball from the good place at the good time.
They scored 3 goals from corners.
