Ah I see the agenda posts have now stretched to the champions league. Excellent. Last night was all platini was it, and the ref had been told to make sure we fail? What with this and refs in the premier league under instruction, I expect it will all be exposed soon, there's simply too much going on for it not to be exposed for what it is. I'm going for a letter, (self destructing), arriving at a random address by mistake and the recipient blowing the whistle - if of course the self destruct mechanism fails.

To be fair I dont think everyone is saying there is an agenda. People are just pointing out that the ref was poor and cost us 3 points (i know some people wont agree about the ref costing us 3 points). I honestly dont think anyone in both the pro-agenda or anti-agenda camps can argue the fact that the ref was poor.

But not "poor" for both sides.

I agree with you. That's why I (and many other posters) were fuming after the game. Im still pissed off.

We can moan and whine all we like, poor officials and not being wanted in Europe by twatini and co is all well and good but we can only blame ourselves for the slack defending(being kind there), we should just prove them all wrong by taking the teams on and beating them, simple as that. I do think Küns goal should have been allowed and also if that was a ushited player getting tugged like that in the box it would have been a penalty. Sometimes though, I don't think Mario does himself any favours. He is an immense talent, I hope I get proved wrong soon and he lights up the premier league.
Tall order to get out of this group now, it would have been interesting to see the rag cnuts in this group, there would certainly have been some serious fergie time and swallow diving on display!
Do we continue down the avenue of trying to qualify for the Europa or focus on the Prem? Pity I'm not privy to the closed door discussions of where we go now.

Ok so we defend better and it's nil nil, it's the last minute, or the first minute or we are even 5 nil up, that WAS a goal pen and that WAS a goal. Our defending or lack of it has nothing to do with how the ref performs.

Correct, but there's only one of those variables that Mancini and the lads can actually control. The officiating was appalling last night, but sadly we can't go into training tomorrow with the aim of improving the standard of refereeing. We CAN go in with the aim of improving our woeful standard of defending though.

There's no point in Mancini losing sleep over things he cannot control. He, his coaching staff, and his players all fucked up last night and in previous European games; holding the officials solely to blame gets the rest of them off the hook.

We won that game 5-2. But it was "adjusted" to 2-2 by the refs.

We can't be expected to have to score 4 more than the opposition every time.

It was clear to me that for whatever reason, the officials favoured Ajax. It was blindingly obvious. If there had been even a whiff of an Ajax pen or a City red card or both would have been given instantly.

We were unlucky with decisions but going 2.0 down after 15 minutes against a decent side is suicide at this level.

Only got ourselves to blame this season. Pissed at least a point at Madrid down the toilet. Blew a lead in Ajax and then last night.
