City Vs Bayern Post match Discussion thread

We should go on and win the Europa. Why is it only English fans that don't think it's worth winning? Valencia manager last night was saying that to win the second most important cup in European football is nothing to sniff at. I'm proud as hell about our win in the CWC.

Mind you, anyone have a sneaking suspicion that we'll get the rags in the first knockout round?

As some have already posted, I'm extremely proud of the lads. considering it's our first time in the competition, I feel we've made a good account of ourselves. Yes we played poorly in some games, but it is a learning curve after all, and I feel we will grow stronger from this. Well done lads, we'll be back for sure.

10 points from the group is not that bad when you look at it....from such a tough group. Just shows how good Bayern and Napoli played in CL. We had our chance against Napoli. But we blew it.

Next year then blues...:D
 
We've done well for our first run out in the group of death..
bit nervy start vs napoli..
had we drawn Villarreal first we would have progressed easily i think..

Proud of my blues.. still in winning ways, and a clean sheet to boot.. :)

Even though it was Bayern's second team, they played really well despite losing 0-2. The way they pressed the midfield and forced us back was really worrying at times. However, credit to City for plugging away, keeping their shape and scoring two really good goals.

10pts in the Champs League and still knocked out! Who knows what might have been?

Good luck Napoli & Bayern (but not de Laurentiis or Rummenigge the miserable pair of fucking arses).

As i said earlier about how proud i am with the professionalism of our club, 1st thing Kompany said in his interview was congratulations to Napoli and no one should underestimate them.

Wonder if anyone from the scum will be congratulating Basle and not blaming pitch/ref/officials/weather/injury/tiredness/poor qaulity wine
