Great performance from Dortmund. They will be gutted they didn't win that.

Hart was superb. They could have easily had 6 or 7 with the clear chances they created.

Yaya awful for us and with out of his depth Rodwell next to him we had no chance 2nd half.

Dzeko average starting again. Maybe supersub suits him better. Silva sloppy again.

We are going to struggle to get out of this group on that evidence but at lead we still have a chance.

The poor transfer window is costing us big time.

I think this group is a bridge too far for us and we need a few more years to develop in this competition.

Saying that we are still in it and should keep fighting!

Yes we have to cut out the errors, and not let our heads go when we concede, but you also have to recognise when the opposition plays a very good game. They are the German Champions for 2 years running and better than Bayern munich and played like it. have you seen better opponents at City? I haven't.

We also played very well for large parts of the match - don't lose sight of that. Whoever scored first was going to take control of the game

no wonder, man city did not succeed in euroleague last year. in my opinion manchini had virtually no plan at all how to bring the germans down. only dortmund delivered tonight...oh i am so dissapointed!!!

I was relieved to get a point because we went to pieces in the 2nd half, but don't forget how well we played for most of the game. For the first hour both teams created chance after chance and I thought whoever got the 1st goal would go on and win it

I thought we were well off the pace tonight Marvin.

The players looked slow and lacking any invention and creativity.

Most of our better chances were from long balls over the top.

Dortmund did all the passing , slick movement and ran us off our feet for the majority of the match.

As for recovering , I really don't think that should be an issue in modern day professional football.

Can the likes of Nasri , Clichy, Kompany etc really say they put in a decent shift tonight?

Only one player seemed to turn up tonight for City and we all know who that was.

The players should be chaffing at the bit to get stuck into Sunderland after this effort.
 
Nasri wasn't all that bad today , its just that we played him OUT of his position once again . He isn't a wide player , If we want a wide player then we should get Jovetic in the January window . i don't think that would happen though as we have Sinclair now plus there are more important positions to fix , We should work on the Defensive midfield .
 
sick of how fickle some of our fans are, one week garcia amazing and the future of our midfield next week hes shit make your mind up.
