Sterling onside, since Pablo's onside header, the cherry trying to block Zaba's nod played onside both Wilfried and Raheem. End of.
Iheanacho also onside.

Ahh interpretations. Nice one. Sorry!Excuse me.

The interpretations PDF
"Any defending player leaving the field of play for any reason without the referee’s permission shall be considered to be on his own goal line or touch line for the purposes of offside until the next stoppage in play"
:}
Its common sense too, players would be leaping off the pitch left right and centre, if some common sense wasn't applied.Excuse me.

That can't be true surely ? Who'd have thought it ?which means that the reporters are ignorant of the rules
Very pleasing result. Great effort by Sterling, Wilf gained confidence, no card for Fern.
The only downside was yet another blind linesman. Kelechi scored a perfectly well taken, on side goal and it gets rubbed out. Honestly the FA has to do something about these officials.
It's bad enough that reporters often show their ignorance of the rules, but it drives me up the wall when the 'expert analyst' in the commentary booth, who's usually a former professional player, is equally ignorant.That can't be true surely ? Who'd have thought it ?
