City Vs Bournemouth Post Match Thread

I like Mike Dean. Didn't give them a blatant pen, and then ignored the Sterling offside. Plus if it wasn't for that pesky lino on the East Stand side I'm sure he would have let the 6th goal stand too. Well played Deano.

Yeah was a penalty but sterling wasn't offside

Maybe our ground isn't as fan friendly as we think..

No plans to rush back here next season.

Just like LFC, loads of entertainment and bars behind the stadium, but unlike LFC, it's staffed by nobheads and away fans not allowed in.

£6.50 for sausage & chips. Loads of 'posh food' around the outside (which didn't look that appealing). Even the compere for the 'entertainment' did his best to live up to the gobby northern git stereotype.

Headed into the stadium to experience a very thorough and unfriendly search/pat down. Small children had soft drinks in small cartons taken off them and poured away.

Arrived at the food counter at 2:15pm to be told that they had run out of all hot food and there wouldn't be any more till half time. £2.50 for a bottle of water and no soft drinks for kids except £3 for a cup of fizzy syrup.

No attempt to make away fans welcome that we've seen at other grounds. Poor show given the money they are charging us.

A couple of things this guy says may be true but he seems to me like one of these new type of fan who thinks he's having an evening at the theatre rather than a football match.plus suggest if he's going to moan about prices he should take a walk around his own town the way they try an fleece all the tourists

You will never please everyone all the time.
Away fans IMO should be afforded a little more leniency and cheaper items. It would probably make their day out far more memorable.

Can't believe Ichys goal was given offside!! Quality finish from the lad. Excellent prospect.

I thought Bournemouth played some nice football at times, but thought the manager was a bit naive coming to ours, having a go & leaving the defence so exposed to the counter attack. In the first half we looked like we would score every time we hit them on the break. The first half was really enjoyable to watch IMO, the second half was a bit of a none event until the last 15 mins.

I think Joe Hart's distribution has improved massively this season, and it's good to see him starting off good attacks from getting accurate balls out quickly to our forwards or midfield players. I love how quickly we are getting forward this season when we are countering.

I was pleased for Bony & Sterling. I think the defence looks shaky at times though.

City scored early, nice, we scored again to seal the win ealry, nice. They scored a flukey goal but then we turned it on and scored enought to secure the win, nice. MOTD for once had a fair review of the game (Not sure why Utd were on first, I mean they didnt exactly concentrate on Kendal!), even Shearer said good things about us.

De Bryune looked good again, Bony and Sterling partnership showed promise, We did well without our main players, the future is good, it's blue

So where does that leave zabaleta ?? Just asking.
The Bournemouth player had his hand on the line at the point Bony played the ball to Sterling.
