Well, out of those two, it'll definitely be Wilf on Wednesday, as kelechi isn't in CL squad
With that in mind, can we risk Bony?

There's a few decisions like that to be made eg Kompany needed against Sevilla, but to play in that game which will be seriously intense, and test his calf out, he'll have to show he's ready. I can see us building his minutes up and playing Bony and Kelechi a half each (if game going OK) and giving Kompany an hour on Saturday.

Seems like a lot of players are nearing comebacks: Toure, Nasri and Kompany with Clichy and Delph not too far away either. Hoping neither has had setbacks.

De Bruyne has also played a lot of football recently. He'd be due a rest if Silva wasn't out.

---------------------Hart
Zabaleta--Kompany--Mangala--Sagna
----------------Fernando
---Navas--De Bruyne--Toure--Nasri
------------------Bony

Even though Iheanacho isn't registered for the Champions League, I'm still fairly sure Bony will start against Bournemouth.

It's obviously a risk in case he too gets injured, but I think he needs games to get his sharpness back.

Can see Bony starting against Bournemouth, Sevilla and United if fit. Iheanacho will presumably start against Palace in the cup.

I agree with nearly every lineup you post on the pre match threads.

This is spot on for me.

Whilst I agree without Silva we could do with Nasri in there to help keep possession a bit better, I think playing him on the left infront of the right footed and more defensive Sagna would leave us with absolutely no width on that side to free up space for the guys in the middle. So I'd be tempted to replace Nasri with Sterling in this lineup to give us that bit of width that's been helping us lately.

However if Kolarov pulls through and is deemed ready to start then I too would start with Navas, Nasri and KDB as the 3 behind the striker as he would be able to get forward to (hopefully) give us enough width on both sides :)
