City vs Burnley Post Match Thread

Missed Yaya massively but nothing lost, nothing gained. Chelsea won't win every game.

Well, neither will we! If the idea was to just while away time sitting on the lead and conserve energy for new year's day then it was very badly implemented. The team has ended up going full steam for the entire match and I fear for the match 2 days later; especially given that it is feckin Sunderland! Won't be surprised if we lose that one.

Kolarov was absolute shite.

Some terrible performances today but Kolarov was an absolute disgrace. From a defensive viewpoint he is a total liability and just has none of the commitment shown by the likes of Zabaleta.

Shite, utter shite.

Not one good performance with special mention to Mangala, Kolarov and Nasri for reaching new levels of uselessness.

2-0 up, at home, to fucking Burnley and we throw it away. The first goal was horrific officiating but we're the Champions, playing at home and still winning at that point. No excuse, fuck right off.

nasri really wasn't that poor
He was utter shite, dispossessed more than any other player.

Problem is neither will we, and defensively they're miles more solid than us (even with Kompany) plus we've got much tougher fixtures over the second half of the season. On our day were head and shoulders the best team in the league injuries will prevent us from winning it this year.

oh well, could have been a much worse day.

got what we deserved.

Actually thought Burnley deserved the three points overall. Ings and Barnes were brilliant and completely dominated us in the second half. Not sure what happened in that half time team talk but one things for sure it wasn't inspirational. One more thing, We should never play Kolarov again apart from last resort he was clearly the odd man out today in terms of ability.

How do we give so many free kicks away ffs

Every game - 63% possession, 18 free kicks to their 9. It's a fucking joke and it doesn't take a genius to work out that referees are not giving us a fair crack. The free kick that led to their goal wasn't even a free kick, let alone a booking for Zab!

That match set a dangerous precedent, teams will be hoofing it long against Mangala now and constantly getting free kicks on the edge of the box.
