City Vs Chelsea in the US of A

I may have missed this, and if so I apologize, but what website & when are the NYC tickets going on sale? Would die to see them again, haven't since Baltimore v.Inter (following year I couldn't afford to make it out west).

Does no one else find it odd that we are playing 2 friendlies against the same team?

Well on the one hand we're not gonna be playing them again in the Charity Shield so not that odd and on the other do you think they might want to limit revenues going to United?

A derby win, and the news that City are coming to play in NYC within an hour of my house? The day before my birthday? What god did I please?

There are a LOT of Chelsea supporters in NYC. Time for us to match them song for song. Hatter beforehand is it?

Oh frabjous frabjous day.

(hope this ticketing business goes smoothly.)

ok, editing this post: what is this garbage about we HAVE to purchase tickets as part of a bundle? We are being forced to purchase tickets for the Spain/Ireland match as well??? What shit! Am I reading this right?

I read that too and it's got me pretty confused..I hope that's not the case tho ..you going to the hatter before th game?

I got my tickets in the 20 min. window. I would've gotten the maximum number of 4 allotment and sold at face value to fellow blues if I knew it was going to be this crazy. I got 2 at the midfield level (135$ each) on the 26th row about 10 mins. after they went on sale. I'm bringing a Chelsea fan too.

What I heard from the ticket office when I called to try and get more tickets was that Cardinals Season Ticket holders had sold a bunch of their pre-sale codes and the brokers got to them quickly. What a ridiculous thing, ruining the chance of real football fans to see the Blues

Definitely. In fact, my wife was going to plan a whole day for my birthday where we went to New York under some other premise and then we ended up at the Mad Hatter and my friends were there and we all watched the last match of the season, but then we heard about the friendly in NYC and that took the place of those plans. That said, I'm still going to pre-game at the Hatter and try to meet some fellow Blues before the match (like most supporters bars in the USA, I'm assuming they will be open and serving booze early).

Now, on to this ticketing thing.. they go on sale today. I'm really hoping I don't have to buy this package they seem to be forcing on us.. but if I do, I may be able to sell the Spain/Ireland tix to someone I know. Either way it's expensive for decent seats but this is the kind of thing that doesn't come along often if you live here.. maybe once or twice every few years, so I have to be there.

I'm debating actually buying the tickets on the secondary market so I can do just the City match if they are forcing people to buy tix for both on the yankees site. But then again, it may end up being just as much for a single game as I would've paid for two. Anyone have any input here?

From what I am reading, it seems things sold out in 20 min and got ultra expensive on the secondary market in St. Louis...

Fantastic end of season promo tour. Raise profile of the game, the PL, City, etc. Good for Blues out there and nice for an end of season trip. Ghostbusters fire station and City? I wish I'd not booked my holiday to Greece now!
