LOVE EVERTON FORUM QUESTIONNAIRE

Hello again City fans.

Hope you are in good spirits and enjoying the football. If you would be kind enough to share a little opinion / banter for our forum questionnaire once again, I'll be grateful, and will post all responses in our match thread.

We're still in our infancy stage, but we've got quite a lot of members from each Prem team, and would welcome City fans into the mix respectfully and warmly.

1. Your thoughts on the season so far ?

2. How happy were you with the transfer window?

3. Your thoughts on your managerial change ?

4. Your thoughts on Evertons managerial change ?

5. Everton have beaten City 9 times in the past 12 meetings, losing twice only, so why do you think this is?

6. What are your thoughts on the possible shift of domination from Manchester teams to Liverpool teams this season?

7. Is Gareth Barry likely to stay at Everton now, and were you sorry to see him leave?

8. Predict the score and the scorers.

Much obliged.

Look forward to the game as always, and wish you well for the season.

1) disappointed.
2) About a 7 out of 10, was sad to see Gaz Baz.
3) Time will tell but I'm confident he'll correct his wrongs.
4) Love Martinez, he's got an eye for a bargain and to keep Wigan up that long was brilliant.
5) Because it's your cup final ;-)
6) Power shift after what 7 games? ok.
7) I think he'll stay at Everton, as previously said I was sad to see him go.

8) 2-1 City, Lukaku scores first, Pelle fixes it at half time, Negredo equalizes from a corner and Aguero scores a tap in in the final 5 minutes.

I'm a pessimistic bastard at the best of times, but I have a bad sense of foreboding about this game.
Don't do this to me Ric. The current pain and suffering is quite sufficient thanks very much!

They have a new manager, we have a new manager. I'd say they are favourites going into Saturday by virtue of having a manager who has fewer players at his disposal but knows how to play to a system and get that across to his team. They seem to be better organised under Martinez and each knows what his role is. I hope Pantilimon, Lescott and Negredo replace Hart, Nastasic and Dzeko.

Good call on all 3 changes in all honesty. I think the new manager will stick with Hart but I'll be very dissapointed if he doesn't change the other 2.

Careful how you use the term " new manager " TGR (lol).

At the end of last season, Lukaku proved way too much for Lescott in terms of strength and pace, so Kompany will have to be at his best to keep him quiet. I'd surprise them by flooding the midfield and playing one floating forward, but I suspect MP will stick with two forwards and a four man midfield.

I was going to complete it for you but I then saw no. 6 and figured it was a spoof survey.

I mean you are joking right?

After the Rags this is the team I most dispise.

Horrible people who think they are hard done that we got invested in and they didn't.

Really hope we beat them convincingly.

1. Mixed, but expected it as Pellegrini needs time to get rid of what Mancini drilled into the squad for 3 years.
2. Happy yes, because they all look like good squad-players with no luggage other than the individual media-attracting Tevez an Balotelli.
3. Pellegrini is the perfect manager in the process. It will surely tell in time.
4. Pity Martinez wasn't to become Pellegrini's assistent. He'll turn out an upgrade to Moyes for you lot.
5. It was Moyes his cupfinal.
6. Really ... next?
7. You are lucky to have him. But he will be back for us as I can see Barry going to play a part in the managerial set-up at City or in New York.
8. It's again a good time for Everton to play us, but we'll win. You'll have a great season under Martinez though.

I'd not look at dropping Hart for this one. If there wasn't an International break I would do.

That's not a play him for England thing I just think that if he can get through tomorrow and the 2 England games we may get back on the road to being a top class keeper.
