HART - ZABS , VINNY , MDM , KOLAROV - NAVAS , NASRI , YAYA , MILNER , SILVA - AGUERO , most attacking team possible , we need to beat the geordies and put pressure on the the February 2015 champions , who are in the league cup final this weekend . Give Bony and Dzeko some game time in the 2nd half , not even thinking about the Barca game just yet , totally different approach required for Messi & Co.

Not dropped mate, I'd rest him, as well as Clichy, Fernandinho, Silva, Nasri and Aguero.

Fair do's mate, It'd be a wise move considering we play barca a few days later by i cant see kompany being dropped. Either way i think we'll do these, hopefully that stoke win has gained alot of confidence around the squad to enable us to go on a run.
 
In the middle of our Champions League group this message board was awash with blues saying that they weren't interested in the Champions League, and now we have fans saying that they think we should play a weakened team against Newcastle

We don't have the luxury of playing a weakened team. We need to play our strongest team. Win it, and then in an ideal situation we can take a couple of players off. Be good for confidence to win 2 games back to back and banish the run of bad form.

Barcelona play on the Saturday as well, and they have to travel so City have to concentrate fully on this game first. For the moment, nothing else matters.
