City vs Palace - Post Match Thread

Manchester is a horrible place, with horrible, unfriendly arrogant people. Their ground is in a particularly nasty area. Stadium is impressive once inside, but actually v functional and with inadequate transport
In short, a cold and miserable day out.

found this on a palace forum haha. arrogant ?? coming from cockneys xD
That's why we left Manchester in 1974 to live in New Zealand. But like all true Blues Manchester is HOME and we are proud to have been born and bred there and whichever ground is City's home that is the Holy Grail. To be honest the real reason we left was because of Arthur Scargill!!!!

Delph is a busy player. Yaya is a skilful player. You could see what Yaya brings to the team as soon as he came on. We need an amalgam of the pair.
What a bizarre assessment of Delph. Did you not see him spinning away from tackles, dribbling players and playing neat through balls? Did you not see his assists in the Norwich game, which were worldies in my opinion. He is a very skillful player, even if he is English.

Great response bud. Yes, Delph is a good player and will get even better with us

My point is that with only 3 world class players starting, it highlighted to me that we need further investment to compete with the best in Europe. We aspire to be better than Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Being better than Spurs isn't good enough.

Your post highlights to me you haven't a clue about what makes a good team.

Only three world class players - we need to buy more wtf is that all about

I would have joined you, but couldn't afford it thanks to that woman Thatcher.

Having been darn sarf since '98, I can, without any shadow of a doubt, call total bullshit on that Palace fans statement, I was shocked by How uptight, and wrapped up in their own "London self righteous bubble " many southerners were/are, and the "better than you" attitude.
Thankfully my office is made up of 75% northeners, everybody gets on like a big family, and is the best team I've ever had, the rest of the company often remark about how good our team is, that's not a coincidence, that's just the fact that northerners are friendlier ( in general)!!!
Sounds like sour grapes to me p, from that Palace fan!
As for Arthur Scargill, FFS! Thatcher is the reason we have people like Mike Ashley screwing the working class into the ground with the zero hour contracts, Cameron and Hunt fucking over the poor and the Doctors / Nurses, because workers have very little rights left after Maggie killed the unions

Delph has a lot more talent than people give him credit for.

Have to agree with this.

I thought he was very dynamic yesterday. He was spraying balls everywhere, always looking for the forward pass and has a screaming strike on him. He is also very busy but that complimented with the rest of it makes him a quality midfield player, and another one that I think will thrive under Pep.
