City Vs QPR Post match Thread

Thought dzeko was unlucky not score a hatful. He was in the right place but just didn't get the right pass. Hold up play was great and looked strong. It's strange to see so many fans having a go at him as he didn't do that much wrong. Motm for me was Carlos easily but Rodwell, silva and Edin stood out as well.

my only criticism is that we seem to be lacking a killer instinct...we need to go for the jugular, and be much more clinical. there was a point at 2-1 when it looked like QPR could tie it up, with how much we outplayed them, that should have never been the case. it should have been all wrapped up. good performance, but they need to be more ruthless.

IMO we still seem to be trying to walk the ball into the net, I couldn't count (even on a stokie's hands) the numer of times I thought just shoot only to see the ball passed to a player in a worse position.

We are really missing Aguero (what team wouldn't?) Still 7 out of 9 is not exactly a bad start.

Better things to come.

Oh and why the f*ck do we need an international break at this point in the season?

Some good news is that Borussia Dortmund are also struggling at present. Only won their first home game with a very late winner and were held to a draw at Nurnberg (sic) the other day. They are evidently missing that Japanese ****.

Dzeko played pretty well, a couple of wayward shots and a stumble are all some people will have seen though, similarly Rodwell who looks at home after a couple matches but some on here think he did nothing.

Morning all...

Yesterday was a funny game. Started fantastic however I always feel if we don't get that killer 2nd goal other teams will always think they can score as has happened the last 2 home games.

Shape looked a lot better but was totally unimpressed by Kolarov and Dzeko.

Rodwell along with Yaya and Tevez was immense.

Message to Mancini. Please don't bring lard arse on for Zab man again!
Have you not heard zab is our weak link.

As good as Silva is at what he does his finishing reminds me of Vassell!

I hope he 'frustrates' you with a goal and an assist each ane every match.

This is a stupid argument. Scoring goals doesn't mean you had a great game if it took you 5 chances to score it. Inzaghi made an entire career on missing 10 chances and scoring one, then the world declaring him brilliant.

And that is the least assity assist ever. You are basically saying "let's hope he completely fucks up his shot bad enough that it can be mistaken for a cross every game"
So a player that doesn't get in a position to score as often but converts a higher percentage of those chances is better lol!
Things can be twisted any way you want to argue them but I quite often see strikers get half a dozen chances in a game, very rarely see double hat tricks!

I haven't read through the whole thread, and if anyone is claiming Zab is an actual weak link, then thats a bit much!
But a fit Richards or maybe Maicon, would make us look more balanced, they are naturally more attack minded and that's what Mancini wants from his fullbackseta. That isn't me slating Zabaleta, I think he is fantastic and can do a job anywhere.

Can anyone explain the reasoning behind that puzzler? It left me baffled and speechless for a good 5 mins......

And how was that not a foul on Silva when Johnson assaulted him to take the ball for their goal?
