City Vs Seville Champions League Post Match Thread

Bit fortunate but fantastic result and that is all that matters.

However, the match day forum is a fucking disgrace. Zabba is finished, we don't deserve kdb, pellers out, shit atmosphere etc etc. what the fuck is wrong with some people on there? You're supposed to get behind the team but half the people on there just look for any opportunity to slag everything about our side / club off.

I don't know why everyone gets so uptight about this stuff. There are dozens of other posts that aren't like that but folks always choose to remember the worst ones. It's fun to read what people are actually thinking while it plays out, even if what they're thinking is negative and pessimistic. To be honest there's not much we did today that warranted a different reaction.

First time I have been on Match thread duty for a while, I see we still have the same bunch of fucking whooopers

Mate, it's a match day thread populated by City fans high on emotion...what do you expect... really? These "'I'm much better than the lot of you" mod type quotes are smug and predictable.

Great result, though Sevilla will feel they deserved a point.

Pelligrini once again decides to play suicidal tactics, but we got away with it, despite him.

KdB star man for me, Sterling yet again disappoints, Bony non-existent threat all night, Yaya too deep for most of the game, but played crucial roles with both our goals, Navas did well and even put in a few decent crosses, too bad no-one was in the 6 yard box to anticipate his crosses. Thought Mangala and Otamendi had very good games too.

Not convinced we will go far in this competition with the current manager's naive tactics.

one of Yaya's better European games for us, still just asked to do too much defensively and to cover too much ground but thought he was very good. What else can be said about KDB, ran his heart out and still netted the late winner. Get in!
