Team I'd play, Negredo looking a bit off-form for me and I would use him as an impact sub and go 3 in midfield, really allowing Yaya to push up and support Edin up top.
No chance we're going to play one up front at home to stoke.

Never said we would, said it was the team I'd play. There's a reason Pellegrini is in charge and I'm sat at home though.

Key player for me is Nasri.

No one has been able to handle him recently.

I'm sure by Kick Off I'll have invented some reason why we wont win. But at the moment, I'm confident.

I know but I still don't understand why you think it's a good idea. We're going to dominate midfield anyway so we can play Jovetic instead of Garcia and still have Yaya pushing up.

Well I thought we'd dominate the midfield against Palace at home too but that didn't turn out to be the case. I think with Fernandinho and Garcia sitting with Yaya just in front we will prevent them doing any damage and will still have enough firepower up top to break through their defence - if not, we can rely on Navas/Negredo/Jovetic from the bench.

With Aguero not back in training until next week this should be a tight game with a 1-0, 2-0 win for City but it can be hard to motivate yourself after losing to Barca.

The Palace game was 2 days after a tough game against Liverpool and we didn't play anything like our strongest team. We've got to start with the best available team and try and get an early lead, the longer it stays 0-0 the harder it is to break teams down.
