For me, we absolutely play our best available team, and go at them right from the off. Establish a good lead, change any players on a yellow. Start with a high tempo.
Hart
Zab
Kompany
Lescott
Clichy
Nasri
Toure
Fernandinho
Silva
Jovetic
Dzeko

Subs; Pants, Richards, Demichellis, kolarov, Milner, navas, negredo.

4-1 to city

What..........Kolorov again..........please....only if we,re resting Cliche....

Yaya, Kompany and Aguero all in training pictures so not too worried about injuries.

Well we could always play some of the players who didn't feature in Barca game to avoid the tired leg syndrome:-

Hart
Richards
Kompany
Lescott
Clichy

Yaya
Fernandhino
Milner

Nasri
Dzeko
Jovetic

1 or 2 nil, Stoke will be difficult to break down and will do the usual, pack the midfield and wait to get something on the counter.

Cannot fault your reasoning and IMHO you are right about changing players on a yellow; I think we have been very unlucky on some key decisions (eg. Tackles outside penalty area) BUT I keep holding my breath after some of our post yellow tackles when there is little need to test the limits. I can only see us not winning tomorrow if there is a double yellow sending off; let's face it, MP is unlike to complain too much or report a referee this week!

Agree with the fresh legs, but I thought Clichy looked out on his feet come the end of the game on Tuesday.
