I will be flying over from Belfast for this match. I remember last time I came over was for the Norwich 7-0 and I had said to taxi driver who picked me up from the airport to take me to any wetherspoons in center of town for a drink before game. The driver saw I was city supporter so took me to one which was full of city supporters! I was only intending to get couple down me before the match but ended up meeting and drinking with many fellow blues who made my arrival in Manchester for my solo journey a very hospitable one.

Thing is, I don't remember which wetherspoons it was! Think i just got lucky with last taxi driver, not sure if i will this time. Does anyone know where this wetherspoons would be? Would like to go again before the Stoke game tomorrow. Have tried using my memory+google maps and think it may be around picadilly gardens??

Could be the one called The Paramount on Oxford Rd/Portland St Junction- was it on a corner ?

Yeah think it was on a corner with a bus/taxi lane directly outside it where i was able to get a taxi to the ground. If you are able to recommend anywhere else I'm all ears!

Fear this will be a tough one, regardless of the standard of the opposition.

The Barca game will definitely have taken it out of our legs and, in recent weeks, we seem to have hit a bit of a wall with teams parking the bus.

Dzeko and Jovetic to start with Negredo on the bench.

Kompany to be rested and Demichelis to move across to the right and partner Lescott in the centre of defence.

Will take a win of any sorts and think our midfield quality will see us through.

90% of teams this season have tried to park the bus, the fullback position hasn't been the reason for this breaking teams down, although it is a handy accessory, what you're failing to see (IMO

) is AK is targeted aerially with the diagonal ball, something Walters and crouch will expose, clichy is positionally more able, however, the thought of Stoke parking the bus excites me, if they do we'll hit 5/6!!!

They werent sound when we got relegated to the 3rd tier in 1998 , and the years after were always a bit hairy at both Maine rd and the britannia, but that said they are a lot better these days, they were brilliant at the cup final even though they lost, they are one set of fans i used to hate, but dont mind nowdays, others have taken their place.

Team I'd play, Negredo looking a bit off-form for me and I would use him as an impact sub and go 3 in midfield, really allowing Yaya to push up and support Edin up top.
