City vs Swans Post Match Thread

At the end of the day they're all good players. Otherwise we wouldn't be Champions.

It's just the decision making that lets them down, especially when we have a 3 on 2 overlap, but pass the ball too soon (Yaya) or too late (Aguero)

Zabaletta plays better with Silva, but then again so does Navas. Unfortunately when they play together, they don't seem to have any understanding whatsoever.

It was a cracking cross by Navas for the first goal, but he always looks lost when Zabaletta overlaps, nor knowing whether to pass or use him as a decoy.

Funny how Swansea looked more of a slick European team than we do.

PS

The move for our second goal actually started from a corner. Will the City Website be counting that as a set piece, later in the season. like they did with the Johnson goal at Nlackburn in 2011, or Fernandinho's at Swansea last season.

We need to attack faster...we must try through balls from the center as well..we need to score from corners also...
This tiki-taka from the sides gives opponents the time to gather a lot of players into the box..

Did anyone notice when Bartley went through  the back of Aguero  his fellow defenders  gave him the high fives when  he got back into position
Like it was planned

Tbh it was just what was needed to give us the kick up the arse at that point in the game...

Looked better today, some shaky moments but the signs of improvement are there. Now lets take it to those German bastards.

Englischer Schweinehund!

Much better today, lads. Good to see the boo boys getting stuck in and making a real contribution.

A hard fought win against a well organised and skilful Swansea side. Some periods of play, particularly in the second half, were very encouraging but there's still a bit too much short passing between bunched and/or marked players for my liking. Just spread out a bit more lads.
