City vs Swans Post Match Thread

This was probably our most fluent performance from the attacking sense, good tempo and passing from 15-75 mins, shaky in the starts and end although at the end it was expected as we were usually no different when we had only a 1 goal lead.

Once again we couldn't finish our chances though and we are missing that extra 10% that is the difference between 4-0 and 2-1.
on another day it could have ended a qpr or west ham, except we played from minute 15, not 60

additionally, fernandinho was very good, also contributing forward which is why he should always start before Fernando in a midfield 2. Nasri and Yaya were very good too, navas got the assist but was again let down by his decision making. Thankfully Kun came through unscathed.

In my opinion had a ok game. We were're much better without Fernando in the lineup reminded me of last year in 4-4-2 lineup. We need to finish more of our chances because we had over 10 we should have scored to make it 3-1. Because at the end we got lucky to have the win. With the Shevely freekick and the Gomis chance from a through ball that any great striker would have put on target. We need to work on our finishing skills and defensive work in the last 20 minutes to win. Because I think we were lucky to come out with 3 points today regardless a great win for City. And I hope we can keep this up for Bayern Munich.

Shite. Can't believe we let them score. Every **** at the club deserves to be sacked abd half of them should be shot.

Nasri was phenomenal.

Any chance of Spanish Dave back in time for Southampton. Because if Nasri plays anything like the way he did for that run last year, and Silva just plays like, well, Silva, maybe, just maybe, we can claw some of those points back on Chelsea (Costa for their first, Fabregas assist for their second, by the way. By God but they got their shopping right this time…)

Not as fluent as we can be but we had shown character and we got a vital win.

Agreed. We're getting there though - some of our best football in a while, and that with Silva out.

Nasri was excellent. Toure and Fernandinho very good. Quiet game from Kun, hopefully he's saving it up for Bayern.

Worried about Clichy. If he's true to form he'll be awful on Tuesday after being excellent today. :(

Very happy with the 3 points, even happier with the character, hunger, desire, etc.

Clichy was unlucky not to get on the score-sheet but like the rest of our defenders we have to improve.

I feared the worst after Bony scored but we recovered well.

IMO we are at our best when we are on the front foot. You can see when we apply pressure teams find it almost impossible to find an out ball. The downside of playing with that kind of intent is that if they do find the out ball it can become problematic because of the number of players we push forward.

Good performance.

Got to cut out the silly mistakes and it would have been more comfortable.

Lots of improvement needed to make a decent run at Chelsea.
