From the BBC website. I thought this was bollocks?

1307:
Manchester City v Tottenham (1330 GMT)
Remarkably, Manchester City are still paying Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor £95,000 a week.

When the 29-year-old Togo international moved from City to Spurs in 2010, he would not accept a pay-cut and so City agreed to pay the difference in his wages (he was on £175,000 a week at City and Spurs pay him £80,000 a week).

A complete and utter lie.

It wouldn't even be legal for him to be contracted to Tottenham yet we still pay his wages. We have nothing to do with him anymore.

That's what I thought, I know we were when he was on loan. I'm also sure that we sold him at reduced fee to Spurs, to offset some of the wages.

It pisses me off they're (BBC) allowed to get away with this shit

Been the case for a while now but if he thinks something is wrong he will say it.

He's been backing city and dismissing arsenal all season, good to see hes sticking to his guns. I expect Hoddles 1-1 prediction will look silly today, can see a city route here.

Re: Opposition View: Hollow

We may have scored 6 goals, but we scored them all in completely the wrong way. We should not accept those three points because they were six gifts we were given. We don't have the illustrious history that warrants a win over this deluded set of purse string budgeted cunts. Joycee out.

Re: Opposition View: Hollow

Undeserved, how de we live with ourselves after that. Let's go back to 2000 and scrape results past the likes of West Bromwich.

Ashamed City.
