Not really, Dzeko was tired and needed subing, Kolarov needs game time and we were in a comfortable lead. Defensive player for a striker to preserve the lead. Pretty standard stuff.dw7 said:Thought kolorov for dzeko was a strange decision

Fantastic result considering how poorly we played against Sunderland only a few days ago.
Hope the injury to Silva doesn't deflate the team's psyche / motivation to carry on winning, regardless of what happens in scouseland.
This season has been bizarre with the amount of injuries we've had all season to the central spine of our team (Kompany / Aguero / Silva and Yaya).

Unlike Mr Perfect Blue (?) I won't criticise others for leaving to get home and get to bed/ see family etc on the last day of the weekend with work in the morning
anyone harping on about this sounds like a rag but as you probably know the swamp would also have been empty
or anfield or any ground for that matter

It was a reasonably comfortable win against a team that didn't look particularly arsed.A good result but not a good game of football.
