City vs West Brom Pre Match Thread

Personally I would like to see 1 of the EDS lads on the bench tomorrow, and indeed every game to the end of the season. if things are not going well then we still have 6 subs, but if we are comfortably ahead then let's give a youngster some experience - (it might even lift this place, which is as pessimistic and gloomy as fuck at the best of times, but is positively suicidal at the moment)

I've been thinking about the Toure saga/mess/situation...

How about if we use him as an impact sub? Instead of him getting knackered by half time, we start with (say) Lampard, then put Yaya on for the last 30 when maybe, just maybe he can manage to put in a 30 minute performance and when opposition legs might be tiring?

Obviously, not been impressed with him of late, but I'm wondering if there's anything we can do to still get some value from him?

We've been predictable for a good while now, so why not try some variation? It's worth a go I'd say.

We have the team and quality too beat west brom lets face it. We're gonna have too accept that all game we'll be playing against a team of 10 behind the ball, but we need too just stick too the team that lost on Wednesday IMHO. Maybe swap Nevas for Nasri and clichy for kolorov

My main concern is our upcoming fixtures against the likes of spurs, ushited & s'ton. These are the games that imo we'll struggle too get anything out of going off our recent great run of form (though we are still second though be it being pushed in the tactical turtle's race), these teams look decent for there money at home and Southampton havent got a bad record to the so called bigger teams this season. We'll we lucky too pick up 4 points out of them 3 games unfortunately but i hope im proved wrong of course. Its the games against the likes of west ham, qpr, west brom and villa that im more confident we can get top results in.

We can't do it tomorrow as Yaya injured but not a bad shout...

Lets hope we just bombard Myhill ( yes Myhill ) tomorrow with pace, intensity and some of that grit and energy that we haven't seen at home for a long time bar Newcastle who just couldn't defend.

WBA can , Pullis will see to that 8 clean sheets in 13 games since he took over bears testimony to that.

If Tevez was still playing for us we know we would get some of that intensity so its time someone took over the mantle in that regard at least.

Shit we should be belting this mob if we were up for it.

I expect a labored performance against a team that will most probably waste time from the moment they step onto the pitch. It will be a 90 minutes that I would probably enjoy far more if I were at the dentist or having an operation on my genitals by a tired trainee doctor. Having said that, I think we will get a win....just
