I would drop Vinny because he struggled once again and needs to sort his head out.

?
While he wasn't without fault,he had a good game and was the pick of our defenders.

Is it just fashionable to have a dig at the man??

Was he? I probably wouldn't drop him, but he seriously needs to get his head together. Dithering on the ball, in the box almost created a goal for them in the first minute, with Neymar hitting the post.
He needs to go back to basics and remember how to clear a ball!

now there is no option...just to take 1 game at a time...no distraction ...no champs league , cup

9 games , hope the players are professional to give it all....WIN them all to make for our stupid dropped points....and then hope against hope that chelsea do what united and liverpool did in our 2 title wins !

All the focus needs to be to get away from the teams challenging top 4 and are right on our heels. If the players feel they need time to sulk on the latest run of poor results and perfomances, they will be chasing that same pack of teams in no time and we will be looking at Thursdaynight football.

Tomorrow is huge. We need to recover and get a good run together asap. Topplayers like Kompany and Toure needs to clear their heads and perform starting with the basic things they are good at. It will lift up the other players as well. Aguero needs goals instead of looking disappointed all the time. I hope he starts with Bony with the two needing to try and get some sort of connection. And we need Zabaleta despite not at his best he brings more than Sagna who looks to try and be overlooked all the time offering nowt in attack. Zabaleta is a very important player for us who can bring his never-die attitude to other players. He is our fck-man isn't he? Maybe he needs to be kicked on the head again.

Sometimes it's all about getting back on track by just scraping out results. No matter what, just 3p. We do this a couple of times and the confidence will grow. Forget about formations, it's attitudetime and selfreflection. We are still the best team in the PL, even looking at it a neutral way, but we don't perfrom like one and it's time to get it started straight away. We are at home so 4-4-2 although formations don't count when players don't perform to it.That's been mainly Pellegrini's suffer, yet he is responsible. I really hope we will pick up and have a good end of the season with Pellegrini not facing the same route in Mancini-style. The players owe it to the man. And to us.

I am not having a dig, just saying what I saw with my own eyes.

I didn't see an improvement in his performance on Wednesday.

Says it all when playing a team like West Brom has become pivotal to our season, and all for the wrong reasons.

We are a better team than West Brom.
Clear our heads, enjoy our football again, and get back to normal.

The alternative just doesn't bear thinking about.

Better team than Burnley aswell
And Hull, Boro etc ...

Of course... but there's a finite number of games we can lose to such teams...
and 'getting our heads straight' is a big factor.

Without that, we're anybody's for the taking, but if we can sort our heads out, we've little to fear from West Brom.
Our biggest issue will be nerves if we don't score early.

But still, I've been told I'm a pessimist of late, so I'm going for some optimism!
(I'll take a mammoth 1-0 now)

I didn't see an improvement in his performance on Wednesday.

I thought his second half was a step in the right direction but again he is not playing anywhere near what we expect of him and what we know he can produce.

MP will probably start with VK and Mangala on Saturday changing the defensive pairing once again assuming Mangala is not injured.

The continual change of back four has to stop from now on in my opinion.

It was like when we dropped Balotelli for the run in when we won our title and he stayed out

MP has to stick with a back four now come hell or high water and use it for the last nine games.

We have 9 cup finals now and if we are to win each one we need stability in the back four.

If its Sagna keep him and replace with Zaba after half time if need be , likewise Clichy and Kolorov.

Same with the CB'S we know he will stick with our captain because he is the captain nothing more nothing lessbut if its to be Mangala then stick with him.

He has to faith in his best eleven now whoever he thinks that is.
