City vs West Brom Pre Match Thread

This will be a defining week in our season, anything less than a win and the league has gone. I am looking for a performance to give me a reason to believe. I would take 2nd now if it were offered, the players need to understand that they are now playing for their futures with the club.

Team announced shortly......

I want

Pab--Vinny-Mangala--Clichy
----Fern--Milner---
Navas-Silva-Jovetic
------Bony---------

CITY: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Mangala, Clichy, Navas, Fernando, Lampard, Silva, Bony, Aguero

Lampard in and Fernandinho out, with Fernando on. If it would have been Dinho instead of Lampard, I think it would be the perfect XI. But Lampard as a second CM... I hope it will not hurt us.

Bony and sergio start

I think that was to be expected Kaz. Time for Bony to step up. Interesting that Lampard is starting as well. Fern must be tired, which is understandable after his heroics against Barca.

Lampard and Fernando at CM.... Not feeling very good about this. No sign of Yaya or Nasri, was Barca game the last straw?

As ever, its more than good enough to beat West Brom as long as they put the effort in.

LOL........

we'll be 4th by the end of the weekend.

I'm shitting my pants as well but on the other hand, WBA have 5 defenders, and most of them seem like natural central defenders, then packing it in in the midfield. If our defense can cope with Berahino and Sessegnon when they'll get the ball, then we might be fine.

But sure we will miss Fernandinho's mobility. I don't get Pellegrini.

So, 7 changes from Barca then. I know its a squad game now but for fucks sake changing 3 of the back 4 is a bit extreme.
im not saying it a bad team but I dont understand how come we change so much.

Lack of mobility in central midfield is a bit worrying, other than that a good side that should win.

Unfortunately that might determine his future with us

Kolarov injured iirc but yeah constant rotation of your back four is madness.
