City win the cheapest beer in the PL Cup

Their Party 7 cans took some beating, you had to be practically legless before you could force it down.
Watney Party 7's, brown ale, barley wine and cider were staples at BYOB house parties BITD, all vastly superior to the home brews, common at the time.

Starlight draught bitter was probably Watneys worst, mainly sold in the South.
"Watney's Starlight - this beer was so weak in strength that a 1971 Sunday Mirror investigation discovered that it could have been legally sold in the United States during Prohibition."

Didn't Watney take over the Wilsons Manchester Brewery who produced "Wembley Ale"?

Not sure if this has been picked up anywhere else, but does anyone know why only some parts of the ground sell both Asahi and Grolsch? Irks me every time I have to pay full whack (with ST discount) for an Asahi in 3rd tier Colin Bell whereas other parts of the ground have the choice of, in my opinion, cheaper, nicer beer? I sound like a moaning foc I know... Although was pleased to see we've finally had the automatic beer dispensers installed yesterday!
