Big In house fine. Move on.
You can't fine someone for posting a photo of herself outside a restaurant. The PFA would quite rightly be all over it.

She was stupid to do it as it was extremely poor timing, but it's not the end of the world.

i dont give a fuck about the picture, i dont regonise them as city players anyway, just bored women thinking they can play. if they were playing in our back garden i'd shut the curtains.
Well, I laughed anyway :)

It all depends on her contract but I suggest that the general charge of "Bringing the employer into disrepute" would apply here.

If City were to be so childish as to go down that route then I'd expect her to challenge it and win. These women aren't multimillionaires, and the club would look fucking ridiculous if it fined them two weeks' wages for having their photo taken with a famous person. Their actions haven't brought their employer into disrepute, they've just managed to piss off a bunch of football fans who were already extremely pissed off given Sunday's result.

We'd be well and truly down the rabbit hole if that happened.

Fine a woman for exercising her right to appear in a photo ? Good grief, anyone would think that woman, whose name escapes me, murdered the King's horse for nothing !

Happens regularly in the "real" world.

Employees who post anything on social media that might be deemed as inappropriate are liable for sanction.

In this case I will use the analogy I used previously - if your company lost out on a big contract to a rival and you were photographed celebrating with the CEO of that company your employer would probably want a chat.

I know that analogy isn't precisely what has happened here but the employment relationship is based upon trust and if the employer loses trust with the employee then there is only one outcome.

I understand and agree with what you're saying, I just feel that in this instance nothing like that has happened.
It's been a huge overreaction from a fanbase who are hurting. No contracts were lost and in a week it'll have blown over and we'll have moved on.

Not you as well Chabal, I liked you!

We know the world of football is different to the scenario you used, don't you think this is making us look very bitter and small time?
